Bigger Forum Banner Ad & Site Status

[Thunderfall]

As you probably have noticed, the forum banner ad has been changed to the bigger 728x90 from the previous 468x60 size. The reason for the change is the 728x90 banner pays alot better than the 468x60 banners. I hope they are not too distracting.

Recently Telefragged made me an offer to stay with them for one full year and I accepted their offer. Why? The forum server has been pretty stable after the server upgrade, and they also moved us up one level so we are now a direct affiliate of the Telefragged Network (before that we were affiliate of Strategy Gaming Online). They also promised to share 50% of the ad revenue generated by the site. The other reason is I am quiet busy with real life nowadays. I still plan to get our own server in the future, but that can wait a bit.

The ad structure on the main site will remain unchanged and the forum will never have popup ads.

Second Sachel's comments. Also, Tf, thanks for sharing this with us. Among the things that are good about this site, is the way you share whats going on behind the scenes; makes members feel connected. On the server point, I have ocassionally received the "server too busy" message, but not often, and it usually doesnt last very long.

WHOA...those are really huge. I never notice them because I usually never scroll down there, but now that I just have, they're just...wow. I just won't scroll down there anymore...

I want to know too when vB 3.0 comes out. I thought it was supposed to be in December...but it's been three, four weeks.

Also... Those ad's for some strange reason has been loading up my java applet lately..

I've looked around for info about sending a donation, but I haven't been able to find one.

I use a very efficent pop-up & ad blocker - and I would only turn it off under gunpoint. However, I don't want to be a freeloader, either, and this is one of the sites I'd be willing to donate to.

anyone have a tool to convert this to english?
let it be said that i dont know anything about banners, servers etc.

but since everyone congrats you TF, i will just do the same.
