BirdNES 3: Discussions & Questions

Can I get another day or two to find out who my allies are?
Yes; I am not aware of any though.

I've always thought that there was an implied "please" in the word "request" as there is the harder version "demand." :(
Your request was perfectly polite and certainly not offensive. I was just feeling a little drill sargeantish. :)

I will try to work on the orders Tuesday/Wednesday, not feasible otherwise sadly (if I take too long, I suppose this is a good time for Muscovy to be paralysed by indecision and oligarchic squabbling). Also, did Sweden give up or not?

So, uh, did Hungary just declare war on the world?

Thanks! I am only at war with people who wish to challenge the true Emperor. No one will dare I think.

I'll eat my hat if you survive out of geopolitical considerations of those you challenge.

Oh my god, this will be good :D

Somebody has finally passed King Ryan in megalomania, I think.

To be honest, Espoir, I think you will experience one of two cases:
a) The leaders will ignore your statement, considering you insane;
b) Everybody declares war on you, splitting your nation into teenie tiny provinces with fun European chaos, and drown you in the river.
I think b will be the most probable case (From my knowledge of NESers), and actually, bravo for this. You're awesome :D

I honestly don't think much will come from this in and of itself; now, attacking Hungarian nobles on the other hand is a definite cause for concern.

Maybe if he can stir up enough nationalist sentiment and keep control of the Black Army, he'll hold on long enough to solidify his position as megalomaniac dictator and oust the remaining disloyal nobles. :dunno:

I just noticed the Florentian king leader wasn't Piedro II, but Giovanni due to Wiki. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pope_Leo_X

Ummmm...no?

Wiki you posted said:
In 1503 he welcomed the accession of Julius II to the pontificate; the death of Piero de' Medici in the same year made Giovanni head of his family.

Piero died in 1503 after being drowned in a river after losing a battle. Unless he has incredibly bad luck, he won't be fighting a battle in 1503 in ATL and thus should continue to live. In OTL, he was ruler of Florence until 1494, when he was exiled as a direct result of France invading Italy. Since in this ATL, France never invaded, it can be assumed that Piero was never exiled, and thus he is both still alive and still ruling.
