Black Terrain Poll

This poll is just to check how many people that suffer the black terrain problem/error/bug have a laptop, because this might be the main cause.

I have it on a laptop, I'm still wondering about it...my card officially doesnt support hardware TnL according to the intel site, but it plays a lot of games that list it as a minimum spec...meanwhile, it also plays Civ 4 apart from the black terrain and cheshire cat bug.

I think that the black terrain problem is seperate from any TnL issues as the terrain can be made to appear by altering the mapvisible value for starting techs.

Meanwhile, the cheshire cat bug does seem to be TnL related.

(It's an intel 825/855 graphics card btw)

I have the black terrain bug on just windmills and I have a desktop with a GF6800OC

Well, then this is just another proof that this IS a bug. Let's see how the polls advance. I guessed that this problem would affect desktops as much as laptops.

Laptop as well. Can make the terrain visible with some tweaking but it slows down the game too much.
