So tech path should be civil service and then paper sound good? Not sure why we are researching calender btw so actually I move research to civil now. 13 turns in hammer mode.

As for Nuremberg it's 9/8 happy so running elmer fudd over from that crap town to the north is good. Also it has two plains forests, deer and a mined hill to work hammers... it's not as limp wristed as everyone thinks!!!

So I take work off a cottage for now, place it on the fish and work the max hammers. Takes 4 turns off moai and can whip it that much sooner if a liq decides that's prudent.

Aachen I see isn;t working a single hill and it's hammers are super weak as it's working immature cottages... BAD BAD BAD!!@!@! let us all stop this cottage madness now and just say NO to gurly cottage capitals. It can push out a 2 turn archer to allow it to grow to 10 safely at minor starvation as anything else lets it grow to unhappy.

Jelly is growing like a weed so move work off clams and add some hammers for a 2 turn archer and growth in 3 still.

I move slash south one tile and no more fog for barbs to pop.

Change augsberg from a theatre to a 15 turn library as we have that quest to do.

hehe and 'crap' town of mainz can push a library out in 14. lets do it after the monestary finishes. not so crap I guess.

Florance pops size 2. This town is going to get up to speed fast as it has the food to support a wonderland of mills and workshops. oh and p0nys12!!@!

Mainze grows to size 7 and stall it working hammers. Queued library gains a few turns.

Fud comes in to save Nuremburg so can work an egineer and lower moai to 12 turns. Aarchen will shuttle a troop over for the eventual growth.

Threatre in jelly finishes so stall its growth in 4 fitting in a 2 turn workboat and 2 turn archer to buttress the happys. If I don;t pop a boat for that other clam none of us are ever going to rememeber haha.

First explorer pops in prague, the fearless Pedro! Nice units actually, caveral in 2.

Ulm finally pops it's borders, this town is a sleeper til civil comes in to farm those plains and replaceable parts to exploit all those nice forests.

well mass archers built and more incoming! jelly has room for 2 more growth exploiting the never spoken aloud "MASS ARCHEEREREZ!11!!" plan of master controlz. Jelly is growing still and is set to go size 13 in 2 turns..

Florance is 3 turns from growing again. Down to only one unhappy's worth of whip! Lighthouse down to 12 turns.

We come out of revolt and paper done in 8 turns at 50%. bleeding 10 gold a turn. ok well I can move off on the hammer heavy Nuremberg so let tweak back to some cottages. Nuremberg and augsburg so far... and it's down to -5 gold a turn. Augs is growing it's cottages still so it's still slow.

I lower paper 2 turns to 5 total at a loss of 35ish gold a turn. The sooner we nail paper, the faster we get the UOS up. Have Achen build the university when it comes in as it's packing some hammah potential. Aachen has the happy to grow naturally btw.

Nuremberg gets its moai finally! It's back working the cottages and will grow in 4 turns.. where you can work the last grassland cottage. It has the archer for the extra happy all fortified and lots of health cap left of course. It still has food to grow so might as well pop another archer out of aachen after it's theatre.

have 5 theatres being built and jelly finished theirs. Globe action soon as augsburg finishes theirs in 9ish turns. Then Liq recalled jelly gets no globe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

omg, well I changed augs theatre to a market.

make sure all towns have their confusinal buildings btw to take advantage of the UOS.

Liq stalled on settling green dot as he wanted to get those cavs out and the libraries all hammered out.

So feel free to get another settler/confusional going to pop green dot after paper comes in.

Also dissuaded anyone from working effing mass cottages at AA. feel free to water mill some of those farms in the meantime, Liq just wanted to make sure the effing baby cottages all died! die! Dead! I tell ya!

Aachen is Iron Works + Red Cross
Prague is Wallstreet + ?
Florance is Heroic Epic + West Point
Ulm is a good Rushmore dump as it'll be hammer heavy by then.

We really have no globe town do we?

See no reason to use forbidden palace on this continent as those rats just dominate.


btw, a levee alone in AAchen is worth 14ish effing hammers if the settled spot counts. 12 of which are 100% worth working.

gonna change the save since no one grabbed it yet. Added labels to the towns and well since all the theatres other than augs are at most 2 turns, keep em. Augs I changed to a market in some god awful 38ish turns since it is in grow mode haha.

yeah feel free to play corneh. Liq hijacked the save as there were a few things that needed to get changed like NOW as opposed to another 15 turns hehe.

Looking at Florance I see it can't really work the two plains workshops with just 10 surplus food. meh inland plains are suck, might as well keep the workshops until biology comes. flexible choice of hammer tiles in the meantime.

Good lord, this is going to be interesting! I really don't have any suggestions for Globe, for some reason it was just in my mind that we were going for globe. Bah at least Num. go its Maoi. And sorry about smokin on the libraries, I totally forgot we still had that quest!
 
No issue at all about the librarys as it was not at all stressed

overall, only :smoke: liq spotted was choosing calender. I pmed a book so np! hehe.

While writing a book for ksg liq's nyquil kicked in and this master plan came to mind..

Good catch with that canal. Dont know why we need it, but i am convinced we should build it because we can :lol:

I would put the upper Fort 1E on the iron however - the Iron is not, and probably never going to be worked, so putting a fort on it we can hoock it up at the same time we are building the Liq-Canal
 
oh yeah good point. Took liq a moment to even realize that a northern canal wasn;t needed as that diagonal thing is just counter intuitive to any old school wargamer :lol:

As for need, Prague, Ulm, and Mainz can actually contribute to the navy with the canal in place as our targets are obviously going to be westward at some point.

Florance is going to be blitzing all of our transports which saves alot of time time not having to loop around east adn south and then back west to hook up with the army.

That and the canal doesn't sacrifice a single useful tile so it's a no brainer.


Oh and regarding tech path, no reason to delay education as it advances the era correct plus we want to get uni's and oxford going. After education can finally hit philo for liberalism.

Drove a hard bargain with wang for our drama for his 50 gold and Alphabet
Then made the cream puff deal with sury for our drama for his 20 gold(all he had) and Calender
Landed an easy +4 trade relations with sury for that one and he's pleased now.

Just post a got it when you can play Refar; Corneh stalls his turns 90% of the time such that he should just be auto skip until he can play :p

As for boff0# series, Liq is going to be draconian about the 24 got it and just assume unkowns will poof on contact with a turn that requires thinking. This seems to be the trend on this board lately :lol:

If people stall on the play or rush their turns and post stub reports devoid of any entertainment, might as well let someone else play to keep the sg going and worth lurking.

Keep in mind a 10 turn "whack enter" turnset is very difficult to make lively but well a little bit of effort is encouraged.
