Swedes defeated at Danzig!
Prussian forces have defeated and destroyed the
entire Swedish expeditionary force that landed and attacked Danzig. As soon as the Swedish attack seemed to slow down, Prussian forces launched a huge counterattack. It began with a massive bombardment from Prussian Artillery, resulting in total carnage on the Swedish side.

Under cover of the smoke generated by the artillery, Prussian Cavalry and Infantry advanced on the remainder of the Swedish forces and slaughtered those who didnt surrender immediately.
Carnage in France!
This week a massed Prussian army launched an attack on the French fort west of Mainz. After long and carefull preperations, the order was finally given. Prussian Artillery rained death upon the French defenders. Even though Prussian losses where heavy, numerical superiority made the day.
Once the hills where under Prussian controll, cavalry and Grenadiers where sent against Reims. After a short and fierce battle, the local garrison was defeated. Remins is now under Prussian controll, and the army is at the very gates of Paris!!!!

Hopefully the port will fall by summer.
