This is a late XIX - very early XX century warship. I believe it would be classified Pre-Dreadnought, but i intended it to replace the Ironclad in my game.

Modeled roughly after the Russian Bronenosets Cesarevich (Picture). It is not exact the same - i removed some of the cannons, to make her look a bit smaller. The ship was chosen because of how it looks, not because it is a particulary important ship for the russian naval history. Still: for those who are interested and can not read Russian: The Ship was comissioned 1903 as one of 6 Warships of Type "Borodino". They were build to serve in the eastern fleet as relations with Japan became 'difficult', and participated in the Russia-Japan war. The Word "Bronenosets" itself means literally "Armor Carrier" and was used in russian for Pre-Dreadnought and Dreadnought type ships.

~ 950 faces, Damage Tex, Button and Animation are included.
fScale ~ 0.75 or more. There is a shader (FX) and a non-shader (normal) NIF includedversion of the file, both having team color.

Nice ship. I like it. :goodjob:

Very nice! Good work. :)

Thanks All :)

Well, the Boundshape.nif was missing... ;)

This thing is only needed for the Nif-Viewer. (Does the game need it at all  ). This only happens when doubleclicking the nif file. If you open the SceneViewer first, and then just open the unit file (drag it into the window) you not need the BoundShape thingie anymore... Very strange behaviour that is...

There is also the Enviroment_FX_Greymetal.dds used but not in the package. This might offend the SceneViewer, but the game will have not problems, since the file is in the Shared Art folder.

I know, and no, the the game doesn't need the nifviewer.
It's just that I have the habbit of opening up new .nifs in my downloads folder already. ;)

fantastic job on this one :goodjob:

I thing I will use it as a (pre-)dreadnought, I simply can't use it as an ironclad, this beauty seems to be made to reign on the ocean ;)

In my game the Ironclad can enter ocean ;) This is why i needed the new model in the first place :D

And to keep all the aforementioned details under 900 polygons, amazing!

Thanks Again.

I would like some oppnions at the smoke. Personally i play with effects disabled, so i do not have much experience with it. I used Ironclad smoke effect and i think it definitely adds to the mood of the unit, but it looks like very much, so i had seriously concidered removing it.

Thos are 950 polys, sorry ;)
Still i believe this is a good polycount for the unit.
