This mod the Beginning Started 6/21/08 updated 12/22/2011 to work with 3.19
Updated 11-5-2018 so it can be downloaded for people to enjoy

Beginning has all the technologies, units and buildings from Next War, plus all of the features from the Civ4 BTS core game.
- removed Mr. Big The Lady The Glorious Leader and His Excellency
- removed their diplomacy strings
- removed America Inc. The Southern Empire Asia and Europa
- removed resource depletion
NEXT WAR
Thanks to jkp1187 (John Palchak) for the following updates from his "Not just another Next War Mod"
Most of the Space Race projects assigned to new technologies.
The idea is to delay the Space Race until the players were using the additional NextWar technologies.
MISSION TO MARS (formerly APOLLO PROGRAM) requires ASTROGATION (formerly ROCKETRY)
Cost for MISSION TO MARS (formerly APOLLO PROGRAM) increased to 2250 hammers)
SS ENGINE: requires COLD FUSION (formerly FUSION)
SS COCKPIT: requires CYBERNETICS (formerly FIBER OPTICS)
SS DOCKING BAY: requires SHIELDING (formerly SATELLITES)
SS LIFE SUPPORT: requires HYDROPONICS (formerly ECOLOGY)

Arcology now requires both Hydroponics and Composites
Added all of the random events from JKP1187's Random Events Mod.
I added three new NextWar-specific random events: "The Cylons", "Sensors", "Slip and Fall"
Added voice-overs for all of the Next War technologies
Added a new icon (by bmarnz) showing C. Everett Koop's likeness for the Center for Desease Control National Wonder
Added new icons for the Next War specific Unit Categories (Clones, Assault Mech, Bioweapons, Dreadnought)
Replaced regular bomber images with B-52 by Snafusmith.

Note you will find that some of the water animals will last much longer in the game play because I changed this tag from <bAnimal>1</bAnimal> to <bAnimal>0</bAnimal> I personaly like to see the water BARBARIAN attacking the ships later in the game.

This mod includes the AIAutoPlay and ChangePlayer debug suites from the Revolution mod. These commands are intended to help debug the game plus are also kind of fun (if you're not playing for real):
Ctrl+Shift+X AIAutoPlay Opens popup to start automation for any number of turns. Pressing while in automation cancels automation.
Ctrl+Shift+M AIAutoPlay Automate the rest of the current turn only.
Ctrl+Shift+P ChangePlayer Open popup to change the civ and leader type for any player in the game.
Ctrl+Shift+L ChangePlayer Open popup to switch which player the human controls.

be more speciphic.

If you have and idea for a new building work it out and add it into the mod same for a unit and etc. Add in Python changes, Art, Buttons, anything you like. Add in Sevopedia 2.3.1 if you like and build on to this mod to make it one of the Best, upload your changes so others can can get a mod to play with. For people who can't mod they will get a mod from the community where not just one person ideas building it but with community ideas building the mod. If the community wants a new name for the mod we can change it also.

I'll prob borg some of the flags and the new tech window.

That is if I EVER get regiments merged with air force merged with keymod.

Well, the idea of a community mod is interesting. While it is understood that no team will be there, still a moderator is essential. I mean do you take the responsibility of moderating the mod so that you test additions and modifications then upload a reliable version?

My suggestion is: while accepting the input of everybody who likes to add to the mod you should keep control of at least one version that you can be responsible for it. (Mainly it means that you accept being ranted at for bugs, CTDs, and whatever).

Anyway, the work you have done so far seems quite good. Good luck with your idea.

I downloaded the .01 version, and played a game up to the Middle Ages. I like the additions you made they are quite nice.

You missed mentioning the Training Yard building from FfH Ice Age in your log. It is not a big deal but if you plan to accept addition from the community I think it is good to keep your log comprehensive and better organized. I suggest you just arrange it so all added buildings are in a section of their own, All added Techs, Civics, etc. People can check these and decide if they have something worth adding.

As per your log you haven't added Solver's patch, so I guess this will be my first addition to the mod. So do you prefer that I compile a modified DLL and post it or I may modify files and post them for you to compile them?

Something I would love to see in this mod is French Man's graphics. I noticed that you already provided screens to his mod so why didn't you include them here?

You can compile a modified DLL and post it and post the modify files this way someone else can modified your DLL if they have something to add. As to French Man's graphics I want this to be a community's mod, Yes I can add it but I want to see what others would like in this mod after some time as past if no one adds a tech or graphics or buildings etc. I will add in changes that I would like in the mod.
 
R- can you merge your mod with revolutions for 3.13?
having your mod be able to spawn midgame civs, civil wars, rebellions, adn barbarian settling would be an awesome addition
 
also is ethnic citysets and diverse units part of your mod? i saw that you included extra mod, i think?
