You're problems could be anything really. Upload your version to the Workshop (if you haven't already) and I'll take a look.

Thanks for the offer, I have uploaded it a while ago, the version (i.e. xml) is still current (the WoC dll no longer is though). I did not include the art to keep the upload small, but I am not worried about the art, only about the issues with loading xml, and loading xml / identifiying the problems should work without the art as well.

Some others wanted to take a look too, but I never heard back from them and the jabber channel is pretty much dead right now, so it doesn't look as if I will get any feedback there soon. Looking forward to hearing from you ;)
 
Well, I wouldn't provide additional AA power / units over what s in civ already. Otoh SAM Infantry is available unchanged whereas in Wolf's Mod it has been pushed back.

well i for one dont have a problem with planes being able to kill. i believe i set a few of the units in my mod to be fatal, like the battleship, artillery and the jet bomber. if you want to counter it a little just allow more units to get the interception promo. i gave the machine gunner unit a small chance to intercept, like 10 % i think it was but with the intercept promos they have a decent chance at taking down fighters.

Which Mayan warrior did you choose, the one with the leaves or without? ;)

The one without. He currently is my default warrior for all south american civs.

Also I'm not too sure about the Incan Pikeman I made.. I think the one in VD might be better (I think bernie14 made that one). Which one did you choose?

Bakuel did (at least he did the one I use). I stuck with it because he fits better with the rest of the incan units (which also are made by Bakuel).
 
Hehe, chances are people will ask you for updates, once we both switch to WoC you could really stop updating as you would only need to maintain your differences and those then could be added to Diversica ;)

Really appreciate all the hard work you've put into this. But I have a problem and a quick glance through some of the thread doesn't help (there are 17 pages :) ).
I have Bhuric's unofficial patch. Yesterday I downloaded your mod and installed it as listed in the readme. I chose Mansa Musa and most of the ancient era units appeared as the dreaded "pink blobs". I opened worldbuilder and Zhara Yaqob's ancient units did the same (settler, warrior, archer, etc.).
The Spanish and Mayans came out fine, though.

Am I overlooking something, didn't download everything?

There only is one zip to download and it should simply be extracted in the Civ/BtS/Mods directory (make sure to delete any prior versions before doing so). I doubt you missed something or did something wrong.

Please check if removing the dll fixes the issue. If it does (which it should, as I have no problems without it), there unfortunately isn't anything I can do about it as then the xml definitions are correct and I cannot fix them (since they need no fixing). If there still are red blobs, we should look into what you might have done wrong (as they do appear correctly for me).

Oh, and I realized that the reason I lost access to planes/mobile SAM/mobile arty/etc. a while ago was because I lost access to oil. Durrrr.

Edit: Here's a new one: I'm not getting any audio in Civ, with or without the Mod installed. Other games/programs seem to work just fine, and I've toyed around with the audio options, but no luck. Any ideas, anyone?

yes, I detected the bug back when you reported it (bug in CIVs modular loading logic) but could not fix it by providing a new xml definition (you would also need to manually delete the old one...), so I postponed the fix to the next release - which is this one.

good, then that was no obscure bug, that is what I suspected back then (post 310) ;)
 
Hey mamba quick question. im working on my new mod and am adding in your new version at the moment, i havnt seen anything that will be a problem but i just realized that i was still using the 7 version not 8. will this be a problem when upgrading to 9? if there is anything vital in 8 that i will need can you tell me what it is and where to get it? thanks mamba :)
 
Well, anything I added in 0.80 still is included in 0.90, so you can simply jump straight to 0.90. Make sure to use the FPKs and XML of the same version and everything should be alright ;)

The history file included will tell you what has been changed in each version.
