Bugfix 1.00 a for russian Missile Cruiser.
This was probably covered already but I can't find anything about it:
Around after discovering Radio my game became very slow, after I press "end turn" it takes about 3-5 minutes to resume. What can I do to fix this, any ideas?
This seems to strike many different mods and be due to the CIV core (and the excessive use of units in the mods which run into this kind of problem).
From what I gather there are basically two options : get a faster PC, play with a smaller map / less civs.
There are some threads on these issue, you might want to see if there is some more advice in there

Thanks will look at the links. But I have 4 gigs of RAM, Intel 2.6 Dual-core processor and I'm playing on a medium map with 8 civs, so it can not be due to map size or PC.
The change is sudden, i.e.: the game doesn't gradually slow down as the number of units grows.
Hm, at that size it really should not happen imo, time for me to actually play a game to that stage again soon
There is nothing special about radio though, it is just anther tech. Does this happen at Radio all the time, or was it a random slowdown (random as in happens eventually, but also for other techs) ?
Yep, it is because of all the military action going on (show enemy moves is off and fog of war is on). There were two wars going on, I managed to bribe the AIs to stop the wars and turn-time decreased to not more than 10 seconds.
It is still ridiculous that it takes upto 5 mins in the beginning of the war though.
Yep...not getting better, probably around 10-15 turns into the war, practically unplayable, some turns were better than others but still. The thing is previous versions of diversica didn't have this problem.
I just played my first game to that age, I experience no slowdown at all. Huge map, 10 civs still in the game (started out with 12). Even when I start to wage a large war (6 civs involved), there is no slowdown.
