[BtS] Diversica

How to play Div_Woc with carter earth? If I try the game crashed, and I have to end the game.
Please help
 
Have you installed the latest patch (1.00 c, I know I just released 1.00 d but that one is not needed) ?

If you have not, download the latest patch and extract it in the Mods dir. That problem should have been fixed in 1.00c.
 
Thanks for the version D update to fix the minor bug i found, unfortunately it parse errors on load as it fails to find;

...Assets\Modules\civilizations\netherlands_civ4unitartstyletypeinfos.xml.

The file is there, and is one that you've amended, but I presume this is becase of the fullstop at the end of the path. Sorry.
 
Hm, not sure what you guys are doing, you should extract Diversica 1.00 to the Mods dir and 1.00c (or d) as well.

They both end up in the same dir (Mods/Diversica or Mods/Div_WoC). This is not an either or thing, 1.00c (or d) is not a standalone version, it only contains some updated files. You need the full 1.00 in place before extracting the new files into the same dir (i.e. within the Mods dir).
 
But if I try to play carter earth the game crash even with 100c in the mods dir.
 
Hm, that was fixed in 1.00c on my end and noone reported it since, so I assume it is fixed.

Could you please explain in detail what you did, step by step (both for 1.00 and 1.00c/d).

I will only be able to look into this over the weekend though (cannot confirm or fix it now).
 
Here's one for you:

My friend and I are trying to do a LAN multiplayer game with the non-WOC 1.00D version. However, whenever we try to host a game, it won't show up in the LAN lobby.

This doesn't happen when we try a regular 3.17 game.

Any ideas? (It's not the .ini option, either)
 
Sorry, no idea, I do not know anything about Civ4 multiplayer, but given that I have no custom dll (only xml changes) it should work for all I know as long as both sides use the same version.

Is this new with 1.00d (which would really surprise me) ?
 
Sorry, no idea then, the only thing that comes to mind is that maybe you have different Custom Assets.
 
I put the div_woc and the div_woc100c in BTS/mods then I load div_woc.
next I go to custom scenario and on carter earth 18 civs and then I click on ok. Now the game is frozen, but when I go out of the game there is a fail allert looking like this:

I click on ignore always and go back to the game I choose my civ and go on next then I choose difficult level and speed. Now I click on start. The game begins to load and then the game crashes and it has to be end.

Hm, that happened to me before 1.00c, are you sure you extracted 1.00c to the Div_WoC dir ?

Apart from that, there still were some bugs in the maps, the random maps do work, the one with fixed placement of civs still had issues. These should now be fixed in 1.00e. They all work for me in Div_WoC now.
 
Even random is not working not with c and not with e. Is it possible that it is not working because I edited some new units to the game?

That should not be the reason for it. Are you sure you extracted both Div_WoC 1.00 and the patch (1.00e) in the Mods dir ?

What does the dir structure of your Div_WoC dir look like ?

div_woc/div woc.ini
div_woc/private maps
div_woc/readme.txt
div_woc/history.txt
 
Apart form the typos that is correct, so you did not extract the patch (1.00 e) within the Div_WoC dir which I thought might have been the cause.

I have no idea why the maps do not work for you, they do work for me. Sorry.
