OK I just realized that my computer isn't actually locking up like I at first thought. If I wait 5 minutes it loads the menu and everything runs perfectly. However, when I start i game no matter what the map size it lags so much its unplayable. About 35 seconds for the first move animation to start and after that about 1 animation a second. Any advice?
My system stats are:
2 GB of non duel channel RAM.
An 8800 GTS Nvidia grafix card.
An AMD 64 MB duel core processor. All of this has the latest drivers. Any help would be much appriciated I love the Civ games and I am really looking foward to playing this one! Thanks.
I noticed all the frames in the games go at this rate, 1 frame every second exactly.
