I have found a very (very) minor bug, but needs to get fixed and is easy enough for anyone to do on their end without having to download anything...

The Heavy Hussar for Poland slipped through on a minor issue... its tech requirement 'to build' is wrong... not equal to other Hussar/Cuirassier units...
You might want to add that to your first post.
 
No, no Poland. Running AMD dual core, geforce 8600gt, Vista.. really vanilla system. Crash is as follows in Vista.

Well, your system is plenty powerful enough. Can you be a little more specific as to what/when/what-type of crash you had? When did it occur (about what year or how-long into the game), was it a specific event, did you research something, reach a certain point in the game, click on a unit, did it happen in the middle of a turn, between turns during the AI move, are you able to get past year-x by restoring a save game, does the crash re-occur at the same point, randomly or not at all? You gave me the crash error report, but nothing concerning how/when/why/what-type of crash you got and if you can continue playing by restoring a save.

Having said that, you've still got the one common denominator problem with Civ4... Windows Vista... it seems to make the default game buggy enough as-is... Just ask Hitler about Vista.

Mussolini will definately be in a future version... I almost put him in v2.70, but I still think the Mussolini in the LH section still needs a little texture work (though it's a definate improvement over earlier Duches).

In-short, El Duce is likely to make an appearance in the Wolfshanze Mod pretty much any release now.

On Israel... to be honest, haven't really put much thought into them... do folks want Israel in the mod? I have no pros or cons for putting them in the mod personally... to be honest the thought never crossed my mind. Also, how good are the available flavor units? I've seen some Israel sets where it looks like nothing but an all solid-blue soccer team, and I wouldn't want to put something like that in the mod... but I haven't really looked hard at what sets of units Israel has available. I already knew there were some good Polish sets, and I worked hard at getting a good Austrian set together too (in fact I even have a new Austrian Explorer for v2.72 ready).

Romania, I can't see it. But I'm not up on their history as much as others. Seems to me to a great extent we're talking about the post-German HRE, i.e. Austria, right? Yes, Romania had it's own culture, but mostly it was just the melting confluence of Turkish and European influences.

Australia? Can't see it. Unless we count "Australia" as the complete period from aboriginal through British controlled and the current nation.

America and Arabia being "civs"... depends on your definition of a "civ". In terms of the game, both qualify, I would think.

Well, I posted that above, but it was some time ago. NP. Occurs after 1100AD or so. Becomes more frequent as time goes on. At least once it occured when I went to speak to Monte. All other times I'm not sure what it's CTDing on, as it occurs in between turns. I don't 'think' I've ever seen it occur when I research a tech.

Usually I can play by going back to a save with no problems, for a while, although one game I was not able to, that was the only one. (And that was also before you removed the custom DLL.)

I wouldn't mind having another Civ to play with, as long as the civ was well made and has appropriate unique buildings and units.

Well, this is silly, I'm sure, but I kinda want the HRE back, while still having Austria. *Shrugs* Your choice in the end, though. ^^;;a

America is mostly a melting pot of European influences. Just because a nation's culture has its origins from other cultures doesn't make it less unique.

Why not? They've a history of excellent military history (if limited in scale). Regardless, are we going to determine the quality of a civilization by the size of it's military?

Sitting Bull was Sioux, so that follows. Besides, there are already entire sets of flavour units for both the Iroquois and Sioux, something that can't be said about the other tribes.

Why?!?!?

HRE is essentially Germany (a civ we already have)... and if you'd argue that, it's certainly Germany + Austria (two civs we already have). Check the city list for default HRE... the cities on that list span mostly Germany and Austria... The Unique Building is even German (Rathaus)... the HRE itself literally became the Austrian Empire with the same ruler (Francis I) being Emperor of both.

Hmmm... so you want to trade in the 2nd (other) German Civ in the game for the 2nd (other) French Civ in the game!

Charlemagne is/was King of the Franks... I was never very pleased with him representing the HRE, as it wasn't even known as that during his reign (the HRE itself being more of a mindset then an actual empire).

No... I don't plan on bringing-back the HRE... I got rid of it for a reason. I also don't plan on bringing-in the Carolingian Empire... that would be France Part Deux.

In fact, I'm not a big fan of having multiple empires covering the exact same space of ground as their home-base in Civ4 while other Civs get ignored all-together. I'm far more likely to axe the Sumerians in a future version in favor of perhaps the Hittites... why do we need two Iraqi Civs? I just don't like overlapping civs from the same geographic areas.

I just don't see bringing-back the HRE or any more central/western European "civs". Maybe some eastern european civs... and/or some from other parts of the globe (Israel and/or the Hittites), but I just don't see doing any more western european civs.

Like the Babylonians and Sumerians? Or the USA and Native Americans?
