I've never played with frozen animations, but I'll take that into memory next time someone mentions that... yeah... the mod is intended to play with all the bells and whistles on, so if somebody downgrades the graphics, I can't vouch for them!

On the Jap bomber... I think the model is fine, the skinning needs work... I may well get around to that at some point, but I agree, it needs work.

Vietnam definitely has a MiG-21... in-fact a custom MiG-21 with Vietnamese markings... I had that one special-ordered!

Did the video intro get put into the mod or not? I thought it would come up when I installed this version but I haven't seen it. Could you please tell me Wolfshanze?

Nope... the video didn't make this version because it takes about 30 or 40 freakin file changes to put in a simple video (from what I understand)... I have yet to get that far. I must contemplate that aspect a little more.

I did put-in the new main menu screen though.

Secondly, I enjoy playing as the Japanese, the japanese marines and paratroopers look Chinese, real Japanese marines and Paratroopers used equipment identical to regular infantry.

So would it make you feel better if I mixed-up the Asian Marines a bit?

yeah normaly I'm not too concerned with what about unit authenticty but when I'm fighting my chinese neighbors it was kind of disconcerting...

ABout the MiG-21 thing:
Yeah I fixed it up myself, I "accidently modified" (hit a wrong key) the xml for jet fighter.

Hey Wolfshanze, is there any possibility of you ever adding any new civs to your mod? Or maybe someone has merged a "Civ pack" with the mod and I just don't know about it? I'd really like to play Canada with your mod, how about it?

I've already added Austria, Poland and Vietnam, so yes, I add Civs... but I'm not into adding a bunch of civs, and sorry to say, Canada just really isn't on my list of Civs that I'm looking to add.

You should, however, be able to add a "modular" Canada Civ... I think one exists here, but I'm not sure if it's good to use with v3.17 or not... you can always ask the author of that modular Canada Civ if it works with v3.17. That should run with the Wolfshanze Mod if it will work with v3.17. I wouldn't hold your breath on me adding Canada though... it's just not on my 'to-do' list.

You're too late chum! I've already been to Great Britain... or was it England... or maybe Ireland? I can never get that stuff straight.

My Globe-Trotting days are probably over short of winning the lottery, but "back in the day" I spent the better part of a decade living-in and touring Europe, and I spent several extended stays in England (or was it Britain... the UK perhaps?), and skipped through Ireland a couple of times, though my base of operations was always in Germany!

I also spent a lot of time watching Sky cable and that foul BBC stuff... nonetheless this old Colonial Heathen (who also knows which side of the road to drive on) is done with England (or is it Britain?)... you limy bastard!

Just thought I would share something I found this morning. Last night I played your mod and when I got in this morning the cursor on the main loading screen for Civ4 BTS was gone. I eventually had a look around and was able to find the cache to the game. When I cleaned this the cursor returned. So it must have been something in that temporary file that was blocking the cursor coming in the main menu screen... It happened after the code loaded so that is what I think it was...

Ho-Chi Minh and Hitler most-definitely have working civilopedia entries... the problem is somehow on your end. I might suggest deleting your Wolfshanze Mod folder and re-installing the mod.

It's definitely something going-on at your end, that's never been reported by anybody else and it's not happening on my end either.

Do you have anything in custom assets perhaps? Another mod or module? A changed or different XML? Perhaps something in custom assets is interfering with the Wolfshanze Mod. Hitler and Ho-Chi Minh descriptions are even in different XML files, so I find it odd that both are not working... you must have something conflicting... what about the other custom leaders (Hirohito, Francis I, Franz Ferdinand, Mussolini)... are they in there?

I don't think anybody else has this problem (if so, please say so).... it's working fine on this end for Hitler and Ho-Chi Minh.
