About "skipping" units, Wolfshanze, they are right... the time to get certain units passes far too quickly. When I talked about my experience with Japan earlier, and how I dropped 18 nukes on them, somebody suggested elsewhere that I try "massive conventional bombing." I didn't have the heart to tell them I had no bomber force to speak of.

18 ICBMs, but no B-17s. Personally, I think the one area of game that needs lengthening is the Ren-era, and probably Industrial in this mod due to all the fun stuff you have.
Has Wolf ever played Victoria from Paradox? Might get some ideas from that- since it covers pretty much the time era of the mod. Didn't care for the game much though- way too much micro.

He's out of alternates! I only offer three "officially supported" German flags... German Confederation (default), Third Reich and Imperial... all three XMLs are now available for download!No not that one, the other other alternate.

Going to try that (the flagfixing xml) right away. Odd thing was I had no trouble changing to either of the two other flags, just the imperial german one. 
Love the mod otherwise (though perhaps a bit heavy on ww2 leaders for my tastes, was hoping to see emperor Meji or perhaps napoleon III, would love to be able to play with only industrial age leaders with this mod sometime). Works excellent with marathon mode especially and I love all the new ships
If i was to make a suggestion I'd ask for another generation of infantry units between musketmen and riflemen. 300 years of weapons development is currently stuffed into that little musketman.

The problem is that there really aren't enough techs in that time period to flesh that out.
