Did I actually answer this properly? I just read it and saw it from a different perspective. Were you asking about the choose religion option or something else?

No, he is asking if the favorite religion tag in XML is defined in the epic game for all leaders--so Isabella will pick Christianity, for example, and Saladin Islam.

Naval Trade Routes and Improved Seige Combat:

Exploit no 1.

If Cavalry only cause collateral damage to "siege unit of their own or adjacent eras", when you are attacking an ai civ with cavalry, make sure your save a large no of cats for your stack(to accompany your rifles etc), as they will be immune to cavalry collateral damage.

Yep, Woodsman III and Medic III do stack for a total of +40% healing to units in the same square! I made a unit in World Builder for example purposes:

thanks for the info! can you kindly show us the new units?

Interesting read in trait changes: appears that Imperialist will not be changed after. Guess that ends at least three or four threads.

i also thought of this exploit

from another post, I read that phalanx gets the march promotion and has 100% def bonus against chariot. I agree that phalanx is too powerful, in addition alexander is aggressive, so free combat 1!
This is madness!

But seriously, thanks for the screens.

Yeah, that's true.. Strange.. It should be "damage to siege units of the same era, all older eras and the next adjacent one"

Also, playing as Alex, you can have shock Phalanx out of barracks, and a shock Axe even has the edge of a Combat I Praetorian. (I think Combat I/shock Axe is 57% win vs Combat I Praetorian)....all from memory btw, this is far too interesting to mess around with WB atm :)

Are cats useful against rifles anyway? I guess you could still use them to bombard down city defenses, but I'm not sure how much collateral you could inflict with cats against ren/ind defenders...

Thanks for this information. Nicely done Watiggi

It said in one of your screenshots that forests have been changed, how so?

Civic screenshots (part 1) (umm, did Free Speech give +2 commerce? Is so, then it hasn't changed):

yea, it seems forest preserved is very unbalanced, as each one gives you one happiness in nearby cities.

Exploit#2: keep some forests, possibly one in the tundra area. Then once hook up those forest preserved, then instant + 10 happiness to nearby cities!
