Bug reports and technical issues

In my first Congolese -> Safavid game, on Safavid spawn Isfahan was a city ruin and I had no capital. I check in world builder and the city appears. I go out of world builder, the city is no longer there. Also buggy in that game, I couldn't offer gold in trade to anybody.

In my second, everything worked normally.

Not sure if it's exclusive to me, but the Swedish are now Italian/Roman red, and the Italians are now Dutch orange in my games.

That's VD. Go to Assets\Modules\Varietas Delectat\XML\UnitArtStyles&CivInfis\VD_CIV4CivilizationInfosand switch Italian player Color to ITALY and Vikings to LIGHT_PURPLE.

Save/reload usually fixes that. I don't know how to prevent this bug.

The version of CIV4GameText_BTS_fixed.xml used in 1.9 has two versions of TXT_KEY_EVENTTRIGGER_TRADING_COMPANY_CONQUERORS . The second one should obviously be TXT_KEY_EVENTTRIGGER_REFORMATION .

Just in case this hasn't been fixed yet in SVN.

Bug roport:
Version: DOC 1.9 ,no SVN

The flag grahic and style unit should get into
attachment.php
when getting into Medieval Era , but in Doc 1.9, the flag grahic and style unit dosen't change when getting into Medieval Era and remains
attachment.php
until getting into Renaissance Era.

The name for Kongo embassy is TXT_something.

Same with Tibet, though that one has some other problems as well.

I'm getting an XML error on start-up:

"Tag: BUILDING_PHOENICIAN_GLASSMITH in Info class was incorrect
Current XML file is: modules\varietas delectat\xml\unitartstyles&civinfos\vd_civ4civilizationinfos.xml"

How do I fix it/is it important to fix when running the 600 AD scenario?

Its VD.

Spoiler :
Assets\Modules\Varietas Delectat\XML\UnitArtStyles&CivInfos\VD_CIV4Civiliz ationInfos. Search for Phoenicia, scroll down to the Building and Units section (has bireme and glassmith in there currently) and make the changes above. I wouldn't try copy-pasting as there may be some formatting issues.

Rock on. I've been a little out of communication with the rest of the world for the last week or so.

Oh right, probably not the right place to talk about this, but you alright? City alright? Just wondering about my home state.

~Bair

The levees held fine & kept the city well protected, as long as you were inside them. Plaquemines, the Northshore, St Charles, St John, parts of St Bernard & Jefferson (Barataria & Lafitte) all got hit pretty hard. The T-P's been wondering if ACE's new system made the flooding out there worse. Entergy took their sweet time to restore power--we were out from Tuesday night to Saturday night.

The Theodosian Walls in Istanbul/Constantinople don't count towards UHV #1 if you capture the city with them. They do state that they are a "World Wonder".

Additionally the Hagia Sophia was present in the city when I capped it, and it counted toward my UHV #1.

Also, what is qualified as the eastern mediterrenean? I took everything from Greece eastwards, and nothing happened. Then I took the entire Italian boot eastwards, and still nothing. I also had a problem with the Black Sea, but I think that was because Poland had a city on the north side.

I'm getting this every time I open up the victory screen for Phoenicia/Carthage.
By the way, the counter isn't showing properly for the 3rd UHV either.
Then, when I found Sur, the UHV screen becomes this. (3rd picture)

^No city means no dividing by the number of cities. As soon as you have a city it is fine as it can divide by 1.

I'm not sure there would be a good and worthwhile way to fix this.

In fact, the Theodosian Walls do count, but Hagia Sophia doesn't, because it's a shrine and not a wonder.

All cost tiles adjacent to the Eastern Mediterranean (east of Sicily, minus the Adriatic Sea). The tile tooltips shows which tiles are considered the EM though.

There is, it's called good coding :D

Python Exception playing as English 600 AD start with SVN 429

I triggered conquers event with the Aztec, made them capitulate, then hired one of the knights I received out for a mercenary. The next turn someone hired him, but when I went back to the screen to look, I got this python exception. Tried to save and reload, did not work, so I kept playing, and still every time I go to the mercenary contract screen I get this exception. It is a very good idea, and I wish that it will be working in the future.
