Bug reports and technical issues

You sound awfully nosy, don't you :p Maybe they no longer care about war and death, and just want to relax.

Maybe they are so impressed by my culture that they want to keep listening to Amiens's music instead of colonising.

BTW, while it looks like Lubeck and Frankfurt properly flipped, both cities still have 70% of my culture in it - only the tiles around it became 100 % German.

Haha exactly
But honestly, it is strange that they don't do anything even though you have open borders. I think the reason is, is that if you made the AI colonisers go through open borders, they would settle completely random and landlocked places. For instance, I think the Vikings would end up setting in Siberia, or the Khmer would settle in Manchuria.

Dynamic name for Byzantines as vassal of Tukey is "Eyalet of R m", unless it's supposed to be such a weird name, i guess theres a letter missing.

I think its because they feel threatened. They want to keep the units in Europe. I also think Dutch Amsterdam should keep its 9 tiles now that it spawns even later, though usually there is no nasty heavy culture city two tiles away to interfere.

Can you see the character inside the quotation marks?

"û"

Yep I can but browser fonts are hardly related to civ4 fonts. ^^
Looking in the xml it's actualy "ű" which is supposed to be there but doesn't display.

I remember seeing back a loading screen info thing (and this was after you said you added some that were relevant to the current DOC), where it talked about Headquarters for corporations. Obviously, that should be taken out :p

I'm pretty sure it actually sais there are no headquarters anymore.

There's still a message that says that only GPs can found corporation headquarters.

I didn't really know where to put this so I thought to put it here.

I had a save as the English empire a week ago, now I can't enter it since I updated it.

Is there away to go back one patch? I don't feel like doing it all over again.

Okay I tried to rollback and it doesn't seem to work well... In fact it doesn't work at all because of conflicted files apparently.. Any help?

Use the "update to revision ..." option to change to any revision you like.

If there's a conflict, deleting the conflicted files (red exclamation marks) and updating again is the easiest solution.

It isn't up to chance, it's dependent on other factors. For the moment I've only made the five new civs optional.

Not quite sure, but somehow the AI should have more self preservation instincts than to give the capital and only city to a trading company giving money.

What's wrong with that? Ruler happily walks off with his newly-gathered fortune and his people are being oppressed and abused by the new foreign regime. It's not like it's not historical :(

Hi,

Here are somes bugs i seen:

1) Poland dont count as Vassal for the HRE UHV.
2) Poland dont count as european Civ for Iran UHV.
3) 3rd Iran UHV says "have one City with more than 20000", but the UHV only checks culture of the capital Isfahan. Also the Iranian Capital starts with no Palace.
4) 2nd Congo UHV for Slave trade more than 1500 gold dont trigger.
(and maybe give north/south america cityspots a slave trade boost. its scary that a slave in sevilla gives more gold then in brazil)

^About that: should we have the Moors count as Europeans? After all, the Cordobans had their capital in it, but after Cordoba they represent North Africans exclusively...

While browsing through the stability maps I've noticed that most civs have foreign(core) stability on Belgrad and Marrakus titles even though the titles around are contested/historical for them. I assume it's because those titles used to be mountains.
Also there's probably more such titles since some of the maps look strange but those 2 affect several civs :)
