I don't feel like downloading an XML editor just to change a color. More worried about crashes.

About time to mess up the Italy spawn, right?

Then maybe Spain, at first just have the Moors replace them entirely.

I updatet the SVN today, and now I can't get the mod started. CIV crashes a few seconds after I load the mod or right click-open the map...
Btw, why should the Vikings now be light purple? Tbh, I don't really like the idea of pinkish Vikings...
It's not pink, light purple is the color they had in BtS, the difference isn't that great.

Simply use Notepad, no XML editor necessary.

Crashes consistently right at 1300 AD (Turn 70 for 600 AD). Something along the lines of "This application has told runtime to terminate it in an unusual way." Will now check for 3000 BC

Does not happen for 3000 BC.

Color of doom goes back to Italy when I change Vikings.
 
Italy should have PLAYERCOLOR_ITALY.
 
Colors are better. Now I just get consistent crash at 1300 AD with 600 AD start.

Italy still needs to be de romanized.

I'm currently investigating that WB error.
 
I've found the problem with the VD errors. Download the attached RAR file and unpack it into your Mods folder.
 
WB now has no problems. Patch fixed that.

Must I go and change GRECO_ROMAN to ITALIAN or something. No need to give them the honor of having SPQR on their galleys, Italy, that is.

Still expecting updates for the next week to have an extremely conditional Italy spawn. (Must be 4 independent cities in Italy) :)

EDIT: Spoke too soon. Still crashing right at 1280 AD. Prussia worked once though.
 
Just crashed 3 times as France in 1280 AD, the question is : is there anything significant happening at 1280 AD ? (revision 379 by the way).
 
Do you crash during autoplay? 1280 is the Turkish spawn ...
 
If he's playing as France, it's probably not autoplay.
 
I suppose he was asking Hippo about the autoplay, not me, since I was obviously not in autoplay with France. If it has any significance (I'm just trying to remember what happened in the Turkish spawn area before 1280), Byzantium had collapsed (the core remained of course) a few turns before the crash (possibly to the Seljuks).

First of all, it crashes in 1290 AD, not 1280 AD, turn 68 is the last one I can play.

It does not get past there in auto turns, I don't know what happened for Prussia.

By the way, all of us are doing this out of 600 AD, right?

Everything still works with 3000 BC. Not that I want to be waiting half an hour to play England, or a whole one to play America.

Also don't get very good historical accuracy.

Only happens in Normal speed. Guess I will get used to playing longer games.

You're right! Forgot to remove the buildings.

Will wonders get removed or will religious wonders make it impossible to remove that religion? (should make it impossible, there should be a minor price to pay for a religious wonder of a different religion).
 
Well, my bugs seem to be fixed! I updated the SVN completely new and added VD and the new patch for VD. :)

Edit 1: Crap, the colours of Vikings (greenish) and Italy (orange-ish) are somewhat screwed up...

Edit 2: Stupid me...mixed up Presian and Italian CoA and just read about the change I had to make in the VD CivInfo file. Now everythings alright and I actually like the new old colour of the Vikings! :)
