Bug reports and technical issues

This is what I get with Phoenicia as of revision 389 or 390. I've only researched agriculture so I'm definitely not at fault (Bablylonia is at fault anyway because they've settled that horrible city that interferes with my UHV...).

Yes, I get that a scary amount as well. Could it be something left from when Judaism was founded in Jerusalem (scary thought)?

I'm not sure what's wrong here. I had a railroad from moscow to a korean port with the "siberia" tooltip. When it didn't work, I invaded. just to be safe, I built another port up north on a useless spot, but that is otherwise "siberia" as per the tooltip, and linked it with a railroad. I am not getting the uhv check.

Other possibilities: Is it possible that every railroad tile has to contain russian culture? That would be lame. Or do I have to go around cities with the railroad? I am really at a loss here.

edit: Nope, used the worldbuilder to cover the possibilities, doesn't work.

Save included.

I'm guessing that it's a feature, not a bug.

Playing Spain:

Founded Protestantism.
Chose 'tolerate the new sects'
Madrid became protestant holy city, catholicism removed from the city.
Madrid kept it's catholic monastery and catholic church.
San Fransisco also had a catholic monastery and church.
Protestantism spread to San Fransisco and replaced catholicism.
Cath. monastery and cath church in San Fransisco just vanished :/

Now why did I hurry to get that city founded and whipped/chopped to get those 2 buildings done.. bah..
But the thing that's bugging me is.. why did Madrid keep the buildings while San Fransisco didn't..?
I was actually contemplating rushing a cathedral there.. I would've definately quit the game and deleted all saves if I had lost something like that too..

Religious buildings should be replaced, not removed.

There seems to be something seriously wrong with the game now. I've started the Moors game, the autoturns were slightly longer than usual and I've spawned like this
Spoiler :

After looking around in world builder the whole world looks normal except for really weird independents.
This is Moor spawn area (yes thats an artilery in Hippo Regius :crazyeye:)

And this is Paris

Edit:
found out that basically one of the independent leaders is insanely advanced since the beginning, discovered Liberalism in 2370 BC
Edit2:
tried again with python exceptions, this pops on the last turn

And this is why I don't like the 3000 BC start, though it is a problem.
Have you tried out of the 600 AD start?

I've tried it now and everything is fine, although I never play 600 AD scenario so I'm not really sure if everything is as it should be, but no mech.infs anywhere so looks good.

Moors messed up the Egyptian respawn techs again.

Also, I am getting a CTD that reminds me suspiciously of the icon size 64 problem.

If I enter WB on this save, I get the CTD.

Hi, I'm playing Mali, for the 1st goal it says Byzantine is the richest but on diplomacy I see they only have less than 100 and I definitely beat them, I continue anyway and fail it. Is this suppose to happen? Are some gold hidden in diplo?

Iran's 3rd UHV is bugged

If I try to enter the worldbuilder as Iran, the game CTD.

Also is it intentional that the Zoroastrian Temple has the Jewish sound effect?

Yes, the AI will only trade a fraction of it's gold.

You need to open the worldbuilder, and check one of their city using the edit city icon.

AFAIK, yes. You only see how much they are willing to trade, their treasury can be substantially higher.

If you have sufficient espionage towards an enemy to inspect their cities, try it.
If you enter the city and look at the upper left you'll see their science/gold/culture rate and how much gold they really have.

After downloading the newest version the Moors spawn correctly in 3000 BC but I have another problem now, how shall I do 1st UHV when I spawn already owning Malaqah 1E of Cordoba?
Spoiler :

Also the insanely advanced independents problem still persist as seen in the screenshot.

Since when is any civilization aside from AI China able to found Taoism? That's not right either.

I'm unable to reproduce the independent tech bug so far.

It happen in every 3000 BC game I've tried so far. I play on monarch/normal with tech trading and time victory disabled if that changes anything.
Also during game announcement that America made peace with X pops up from time to time although there's no America yet and it seems that the independents make peace with the mentioned civ.

i was unable to build the himaji castle with the recent patch as the japanese on 600 AD start. it just didnt appear
