Bug reports and technical issues

I'm on the newest SVN and get a CTD right after choosing the civ/during autoplay (600AD). Also, I get error messages concerning Brazilian and Argentinian leaderheads and I can't chose either in the civ menu.

Is this a completely new checkout? Or did you update an old folder?

In any case, make sure the folder name is "RFC Dawn of Civilization".

Glad to hear it's nothing serious!

Holy roman conquerors were thrown out from aztec territory to Miami area(they are in a war), I have no idea why, and I have no savegame, only screenshot.
edit; svn 510

I'm currently playing as the United States, and the slave plantation I built on the island south of Cuba doesn't seem to be giving me access to the source of sugar there, despite the fact that I built a route on it.
Forgot to include that island in the list of one tile islands.

Prior to placing a city, Portugal's dynamic name is reading as Portuguese Government In Exile rather than Lusitanian Peoples as I believe it should. I think this is a fairly recent thing, haven't played as Portugal in a while.

Could be related to the changes I've made for the new scenario. I'll take a look at it.

Did you change civics? I noticed the name changed when I started a Portugal recently, but I'm pretty sure it happened upon changing civics - in that case I guess it's because the games tries to "re-calculate" what name you're supposed to have after that.

Nope, this is on spawn before doing anything whatsoever. I guess it's checking for "no city in Portugal" rather than "capital outside Portugal"?

It actually considers your capital location and checks whether it is in Portugal. That condition is of course unfulfilled if there is no capital.

But the peoples name should remain until you do something that would trigger a rename.

If Orthodoxy is not founded by the time Kiev spawns with the religion, it is founded, but there is no holy city, and there is no Great Schism event.

This just happened to me when loading a new game (SVN 511) as England - "Brtish Government In Exile". I didn't change civis or do anything at all.

Oh, another DCN bug that I've noticed in an American game of mine:

France (Napoleon is the AI leader), running Autocracy, is called "Free France". It owns half of Europe (from Madrid to Constantinople), half of Brazil, Peru, Chile, Quebec, and New Orleans. For all intents and purposes it should be called French Empire.

Where is his capital?
