Bug reports and technical issues

I'm getting a ton of BUG module errors with 629. Attached is a screen but do you also need a log or something?
& this is what I get when opening victory conditions.
Fixed the second problem. Does the error still occur on the current revision?

Yep, still getting them with 634.

Also, you're saving me from talking politics with the inlaws--an unintentional but very welcome Christmas gift.

Talking politics with family is also my Christmas routine ... I usually tend to enjoy it though.

(And it's impolite to be on the internet when you have guests - or are one ;))

I bet it's much more exciting there in Germany, where the history happens. Here in Oregon I usually just sprout up Pacific independence to try and make history here.

I too have that bug, so I reverted to 624, because I wanted to go for a UHV. I tried a go for the Brazilian one, but I lost in 1832, when Netherlands built Wembley. Of course it can be remedied by just starting over, but it's more fun if you at least have a fair shot at getting the wonders.

In my current Netherlands game, I'm getting a "bad memory allocation" everytime I trade maps with either Britain or Mexico. I know its a RAM space problem, but is there any way to get around it ? Any tips to not make this happen so frequently ?

I'll check what's wrong with the victory display.

I wouldn't waste your time, but I also suffer the scoreboard disappearance. What am I supposed to do in this case?

To get rid of the problem temporarily: turn off your scoreboard.

To help me get rid of the problem permanently: upload an autosave from the turn before the problem appeared.

Here's a save from the turn before the problem appeared. I was playing with the 600 AD modmap from Master Map Change Thread, but I had the same scoreboard disappearance problem with the normal map in previous games.

Thanks.

That's where your user settings for the BUG menu are stored. As long as you can update without problems you shouldn't be worried about it.

hello!
Did you every met this bug? the castles in Korea and China do not look well.

I tried to fix it by editing the city style file( I replace the file "celestial palace1.dds" with the castle file used in Japanese castle, but it doesn't work.)

I can't see the problem to be honest. I can only see that you are playing with VD.

A .dds file is only the skincolor of a building. If you want to change the shape of the building, you have to change the .nif file.

I take it you just don't like the look of the Chinese/Korean castle model?

I've just used VD's standard for this.

Hey, Leoreth, I've noticed that in all 1700AD games so far I'm able to use slaves in cities but not on plantations. I just want to know if that mechanic was taken out or if I have a unique problem.

Not intentionally ...
