Bug reports and technical issues

Wallpaper
It seems like an infinite loops, because I keep press the OK but since the popup keeps spawning, it doesn't solve the problem and I have to force crash my game with Task Manager.

There are some others Phytex as well, appearing when Mongol is about to collapse and China is about to resurrect. Mongol didn't collapse and China didn't resurrect, though. This happen for around 4-5 times.
Spoiler :
(please, return the Pythex spawn popup back to the multi-lines. It bug me to multi-screenshot)

The bottom-est line is:
Code:
AttributeError: 'CyCity' object has no atribute
'getGameTurnCityAcquired'

It happens some time and it causes the player to abandon the game via force. Is it possible to avoid this thing, like giving an id to the error post and if it is the same, don't let it to display again?

I was playing as a peaceful and solid Japan, 600AD Monarch in a cheat mode.
Bored, I switch to Tibet (Alt + Z), WB some units near Independent Indians and China, attack and conquer.
Off course, I expected Tibet will be unstable due to expansion penalty.

I don’t care. I switch back to Japan and end the turn. I am surprised to find that Japan (which was solid or better when I switched) is now in the verge of collapsing, had lost 1 city to Indie (crisis) and eventhough now I only have 2 cities left (Kyoto & Edo), it seems that the bEmpire function in DCN is active. Then the game crashed to desktop.

My question: Could this anomaly in Japan happened because of what I did with Tibet (using cheat mode) ?
Yeah, don't expect the game to be stable while abusing a debug feature.

It's not a loop, but it's interface related, and the interface is redrawn every few milliseconds so you get a lot of them.

An autosave from the turn before the problem appeared would help.

That's the important line, thanks. I cannot control how the exceptions are displayed (unfortunately, because the single line exceptions are annoying me too). Simply use the logs in your Logs folder instead.

Are you talking about the scoreboard thing? It happens when you lose contact with a specific civ that is either a master or a vassal. Re-establising contact should get rid of the problem.

Really minor, but right now the sevopedia says that Egypt's UP is that Pantheon, Dynasticism, and Serfdom are enabled at the start. Serfdom, of course, doesn't exist anymore, and it's Slavery they start with.

Will be corrected, thanks.

Here's the save. In the next turn, Russia meets me and it happens.
P.S: Don't mind the gigantic amount of culture in Japan. I spawn lots of GA via WB few turns before the goal check, still doing trial & error on how to win the culture goal in my style lol (but failed)

Two new saves, the first one turn before the disappearing scoreboard. You were right about the possible cause of this annoying bug, because, in the second save, I lost my contact with Mongols, but not with their vassal Tibet.

EDIT: the scoreboard remains if I build a Mongolian embassy via worldbuilder.

Thanks to both of you.

Mesopotamia and Persia still don't flip to the Byzantines if controlled by Romans. Singidunum should probably also flip as well.

Didn't have the problem with this save. Do you have any unusual scoreboard settings?

Thanks, this finally let me fix the bug. When losing contact with another civ, I've already cut the contacts with its vassals, but forgot to let their own vassals cut their contact as well.

Embassies don't enable automatic contact, they only prevent you from losing contact.

I don't know, but afaik I've never do anything to that... Meeting Russia didn't spawn any phytex for you? That's strange, I've loaded twice and got the same problem before I send the saves here.

Still with the recently committed SVN fix?

I noticed that when the Seljucks collapse, in the message box they collapse four times. There are always four messages saying: seljucks collapsed. Is it normal?

I also don't know why that happens.

No. It no longer happens. Apparently it looks like because I lose connection to France and her vassal Aztec.
By the way, if you mind checking that saves again, I noticed something new..

- Hover over Kyouto, you'll see big pink blop. I don't know which button-less building that cause this.
- While investigating, I noticed that my Amphitheater is now Mayan Ball Court, Something has become Fazienda, et cetera. I'm sure it's not from WB because I remember building these buildings...

I rearranged some buildings in a recent commit. You will probably need to revert to your original revision to continue this game.

Which might return the scoreboard Phyton exception lol.
Since I have a Ball Court in the city, does that explain why my Amphitheater is gone, and whenever I tried to rebuilt it it's gone again in the next turn?

Another thing,
I switched to another civilization, but somehow I can't press the red turn to end the game. It is automatically pressed and that annoys me. I already tick the option, tried, no luck, then un-tick again. Still no luck. It wasn't like this before I switched to a new civilization.
Started a new game, it is back to normal I can press red button to end turn. What's wrong?

I also got 4 Phyton Exceptions (last line only):

Code:
AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'iCivicConscription'
Code:
AttributeError: 'CyCity' object has no attribute 'getGameTurnCityAcquired'
Code:
File "Stability" line 1674, in getRessurectionCities
Code:
File "Stability" line 1941, in convertBackCulture

Actually there's more than this 4, some are associated with collapse to core, etc but I can't find the screenshot.

I'm playing with iran but i'm not sure i can have an historical win with this bug. Am I the only to have this problem?

The display and the actual victory check are unrelated, you should still be able to win.

After updating to the latest SVN, my game CTDs with the "Civ 4 Beyond the Sword has stopped working" message on a specific turn during autoplay. I tried loading games with both Persia and Russia.

After investigating with Babylon, it seems that the crash happens irregardless of whether one is autoplaying or not. The game crashes on the transition from turn 59 to 60, though I don't know why that specific turn is causing trouble. Is that the Indian spawn? (Normal speed)
