Bug Reports and Technical Issues

Ok, this is 1 turn before it gets founded, by inventing printing. I tried all three options and don't get an error message or anything.

Crap lost the one with the vikings founding 'london' but it is similar to a but I mentioned in the past, also comes with a lot of messages common to a new born nation unable to claim the lands around them.
What version of the mod is that save from?

Two minor (almost inconsequential) things:
- I noticed that India doesn't have a flipzone, probably because it originally started playing at turn 0.
What do you mean? India flips Indraprastha in almost every game.

I was playing v 1.14, as Harappa opened the world builder to see where I could put cities without them flipping to India and the Mughals. India had no flip map there at all, while all other civs (except Egypt, Babylonia and China) did have one. In a couple of games Indraprastha did not flip to them - but I only had a couple of starts, so I'm not sure how statistically significant that last thing would be.

Question: what is "fixed Armoury video"?

Also, how has the flipping of cities next to spawn plot changed?

Is India not supposed to build Vedic temples anymore now? I liked the opportunity to the first priest specialist.

Maybe there's something wrong with the display in WB? Otherwise I need an example where flips do not happen.

The video for building an Armoury was broken (empty screen). There was a Python error when a civ spawns next to an existing city, resulting in that city not being flipped and their spawn units being pushed out. Now that city flips as intended. India can still build Vedic temples. There previously was a bug where they could even build them with Hindu state religion which was not intended.

It is a display error. By clicking on the flipzone button it will show the overlay.

I'll try to fix it, so it shows up immediately when you click on the "DoC Maps" button.

Yeah but India starts with Hindu state religion, I found it practical to start producing priests even before building an actual Hindu temple. So that won't work anymore now?

Thanks, merged.

No. You need to be pagan to build pagan temples.

Both those in cities and those who recently captured are gone, also slave plantation become regular plantation as if you gotten liberaty for the slaves without despotism.
Could not reproduce this phenomenon. Which version of the mod are you talking about? Can you give me save where this happens?

I was wondering why the Mongols had been so successful against Russia recently I think I know now why. They receive new conqueros over and over again. Attached a zip with two autosaves, from 1340 and 1380, with Mongol attacks imminent. I had already defeated them once by then, in the 13th century. They'll attack once around 1350 and once around 1385. I made peace using the world builder in 1350, so maybe their invading armies from the 1380s save aren't fresh conquerors at all.

PS: well it looks like file upload isn't working :(

Could you check the Mongol conquerors event anyway? Playing as Russia.

I will. Have you lost contact with the Mongols in the meantime?

Can't say, though I surmise I did.

PS: something's wrong with file upload, though I can't say if it's broken or just really slow.

I got a crash to desktop on the latest GIT build, ~ Turn 140. (I don't know the version #, I just grabbed the whole thing; it's the one after Greeks had Construction removed from their techs.) What would you like in the way of a report?

I don't know where to post this, so I'll put this here, although it's not really a bug for me.

As we all know, Polynesia isn't really intended for the AI to play. However, I still wanted to keep them around in my games even while playing as other civs, so I set them to appear in every game. I "help" them by settling cities for them through the WB at set dates (or whenever I remember, lol). Amazingly, I've observed that they were able to settle a few cities without my assistance. In one game I saw them found Funafuti a few turns after spawn. In another game I saw them found Mangareva (though I WB'ed Rarotonga and Tahiti for them) and two cities in New Zealand. Does this mean that there is a fair chance for improvement in its AI? I hope so. :)

And oh, another thing, the Mongol conqueror fix is still bugged. I received a Python exception when it triggered. The instance of isFirstContactMongols() called lacks an argument, which if I understood the code correctly, is iTeamX.

A save please, and if it happened during your turn a description of what I can do to reproduce it.

Couldn't replicate it. Oh well. I'd dumped my AutoSaves, and my last save was far enough back that whatever random event/AI behavior provoked it didn't reoccur when I got to that point. It was something in the computer's turn, not mine, that had caused it.

Can't do anything then unfortunately. Let me know if it comes up again.

Slave plantation on banana provides 1 less food than intended. Or is this intended??!!11
