Which commit is this from? I cannot open this from develop.
I probably didn't do a good job of explaining what the problem is there, but since they say an image is worth more than a thousand compounded sounds emitted by a healthy human pharynx:
This is a regular cavalry upgrade line, well it's the Egyptian one but other than the war chariot it's the same for the rest:
And this is the Russian upgrade line, where you can see the Hussar left hanging and the Cossack upgrading directly to Cavalry:
The Cossack has stats that would match a Hussar replacement, but is implemented as a Pistolier UU instead. So it should either have its stats be adapted to those of the Pistolier and upgrade to Hussar, or have it replace the Hussar, with the same Biology and Nationalism tech reqs.
That was fine the save don't work? The picture was pasted in maybe I should've uploaded it. Just did, it is a Ifranview png file.
About the Cossack I think it is better then a Hussar same but 60% withdraw instead 50%, So maybe for classes that are superior to what comes after it makes sense. Mandugai for example does go to Pistolier cause pistolier has 40 instead of 30% withdraw.
why i cant destroy the city (Urgenc)? it always joined to me
RiseAndFall.py, @ moveOutInvaders(), line 1423 still contains one iGhulamWarrior.
No, it doesn't work for me. Are you on the latest develop commit when you're opening it?
Greece just completed the Great Cothon, killing my Phoenicia playthrough in 884 BC... surely a bug?
Doesn't it require Canaanite religion?
It requires any pagan religion.
Crash on end turn
You see the requirement as Baalism, they see the requirement as Olympianism; but that is just an interface difference, the acutal requirement is Paganism.
Razing cities is not immediate anymore, it takes a couple of turns. Urgenc is so small that it will be razed just one turn later.
The most minor of issues: A loadscreen message still warned about the seljuks appearing in the middle east in the 11th century.
Edit: Same goes for "Harappan civ only intended for human players"
But if you have already removed these lines in the last 2-3 weeks, nevermind.
All the saves I have all 3 crash for me now. So likely cause of the updates in between it became unstable, it was from I think a week ago so about 4 updates in between 16/17th april.
Actually all saves from before the yesterday update crash, so it is save game incompatible.
so not sure if this is before declaring or during.
No crash for me, the turn just takes quite long.
So the save you uploaded earlier was from April 16/17?
Yes, around that time, but I made a save later of England that also don't work anymore from the 20th I think that the update from Sunday might have made them unable to work.
My new Tamil game just works fine.
Managed to open this save and figure out what's going on. Vikings already was at war with Holy Rome, and did not declare because of the Reformation. France did declare war on the Vikings, but they currently cannot contact each other. When contact is reestablished, they are still at war.
I got an error message after going from turn 221 to t222 (see screenshot) and the game crashes when I try to continue from t222 to 223.
The reason is that Arabia is razing a city in t221. It goes to 0 population in turn 222, but before the town turns to dust, Arabia collapses. This leaves a city with 0 population as the new capitol of a non-existent Error-Nation.
[deleting the city in WB in t221 solves the issue. In t222, the city can no longer be deleted, giving me error messages.]
I'm not playing the latest develop - my version seems to be checked out on April 1st.
EDIT: Same savegame: Check out Tucume - Catholicism has already spread in South America, long before any civ developed Compass.
I already had that issue once before in plain 1.15.
This has likely been fixed already then.
