Okay, thank you. I misunderstood that the base experience of 3 for stealing a technology was reduced by the cost reduction. Would it be possible to add a tooltip for the player, showcasing the espionage experience and its modifiers, to be gained from doing a mission? Something like (3 base xp x .48 spent = 1.44 xp = 1 xp)? Just so the player is aware that reducing the mission cost also reduces the experience gained. As an example, the combat screen we get is pretty detailed. The spy in Pyeongyang receives 3 xp after stealing a technology, the one in Hanseong receives 1 xp. So everything seems to work as intended. The difference is that Hanseong has a 52% cost reduction, and 48% of 3 rounds down to 1.
Hey i have the same issue, but i don't understand the installer isnt opening when i download it. it not sure what program to useYes, with the 1.16.6 version. Same result.
I will try again.
Edit: 1.16.6 from Installer works fine! No errors for any of the start dates.
In the past I've always played the SVN/Git version. It's nice to know the Installer is a good backup option!
I don't see "city in India" anywhere in the Hindu civilopedia page. I have 1.16.6.It's at the religions pages, at least in V1.16.6
That is possible, but will not happen any time soon.Okay, thank you. I misunderstood that the base experience of 3 for stealing a technology was reduced by the cost reduction. Spoiler Combat XP :
Not intended, the goal incorrectly fails early. If you still have a save of this situation, it would help me fixing the issue.Another question/bug, although this might just be me misunderstanding again. For the Egyptian pagan victory, "Be the first to create three different kinds of great people", I am failing once a great merchant is born to the Greeks, even though there are several other types of great person that I can still be the first to get. Is it intended that I need to finish this goal before any other civilization gets a single great person?
Spoiler Pesedjet :
Could you upload a save, just to be safe?Edit: Came across this bug when I tried opening the victory screen as Babylon, first turn.Spoiler Error :
It is an executable, you don't need a program to run it.Hey i have the same issue, but i don't understand the installer isnt opening when i download it. it not sure what program to use
IIRC all religions (except protestantism?) have a historical area. Only within that area they can be found. This area is not mentioned in the civilopedia. Other than that, the conditions to found each religion are metioned on their specific pages.I don't see "city in India" anywhere in the Hindu civilopedia page. I have 1.16.6.
Sorry, I wasn't able to recreate the Babylonian bug. But as I was playing an Argentinian game, I came across a strange bug. After I completed my second goal, I got my free golden age. But the turn after that, I got another golden age, for free. And the subsequent turn, as well. That is possible, but will not happen any time soon.

That is intentional. "For +0 cities" means that none of your cities will gain additional happiness from acquiring this resource. "Currently in +0 cities" means that none of your cities gain happiness from this resource and will not lose happiness after trading it away. All resources give their base bonus description as (for +0 cities) or (currently in +0 cities)
Pretty sure I've seen it in the other games I've tried since 1.16.6 but this particular save is attached just in case. I really like the idea though, seems that it will make it a lot easier to tell what is important and what you can afford to sell while trading!
Yes, it's a very stupid oversight on my part. Will fix it asap once I find the time.Sorry, I wasn't able to recreate the Babylonian bug. But as I was playing an Argentinian game, I came across a strange bug. After I completed my second goal, I got my free golden age. But the turn after that, I got another golden age, for free. Even stranger: After that, I went to go and recreate the Egyptian pagan goal. But on my second turn, I came across the same bug from my Argentina game!
Spoiler Second Historical Goal :
I've never seen a bug like this transcend savegames before. I found that after I load my save and encounter the golden age bug with Argentina, if I go and start any new game after that, on my second turn I'll always get a free golden age. But if I close the game and reopen it, I won't encounter the bug. But loading the Argentina save restarts the bug again, for all new games as well. Hopefully that information can help you narrow down what the issue is.
Anyways, I also recreated the Egyptian pagan bug. It occurs the turn after the save.
Edit: Just saw someone else already posted about the golden age issue.
Yes it's just a typo, it should say "turns of golden ages". Leoreth said he's aware of the issue, but a fix for it will have to wait.Argentinian UHV got a bit of a difficulty increase I see
More of a typo than a bug by the looks of it since the number of "Golden Ages" seems to match up with the number of golden age turns since I'm playing in marathon, but this seems like the best place to put it anyway
