Bug Reports and Technical Issues

You can currently call for a crusade against any non-Catholic civ.

Is it good though? Crusade against Protestants has some historical parallels as well as against pagans or Muslims. But that's it. Cannot imagine a crusade against Buddhists or Taoists and even 4th Crusade affair was not "called", it was diverted and was a one time deal. Perhaps limit it somehow? Poor Russia already has enough on her plate to worry about unified Catholic front.

Crash upon ending the term, playing with VD and the latest module from Github.

[edit] Merijn's fixes solved this, but I did get an error during start up which stated failed to load VD_CIV4ArtDefines_Unit.xml (or maybe one of the others files) Had to click through it, CIv4 is still running without issues so far.

[edit2] Ok, so I seem to have traced another crash to the Viking Musketman art. I removed this from the unitart xml and no crash anymore.

New Espionage Advisor (Ctrl E) is buggy! It does not change costs when you select different cities to see how much it cost to do things there. Screen is static, numbers just dont change!

Are you getting a Python exception?

Looks like your are on the receiving end of the diverted Crusade, a la 4th Crusade style capture of Constantinople. Although I am not sure what can Orthodox player do to minimize this menace. I think it takes one Catholic civ with money to divert crusade, but perhaps maintaining good relation with every rich Catholic nation could safeguard Mother Russia?
Got it, thanks.

I just noticed that your first screenshot shows a weird name for Russia. "Rus of Muscovy", really? Did you rename it that way yourself?
No it was by itself, there were some more weird names during the game, the most strange was the Rus' of Russians or something. Also it depends of your capital cty, it could be Kiev Rus, Rus of Novgorod etc.

State religion ( Zoroastrianism) is still disappearing from cities despite being state religion. I would have sworn that some git version has this marked as fixed in notes.

After Russia gets Railroads Sanggyeong becomes Russian but does not get renamed into Vladivostok.

I must say in the current form Vladivostok event might prove pretty useless for AI Russia. In my latest 600 AD game by 1920 Russia was not able even to settle Siberia (practically stayed West from Ural mountains), to say nothing about Far East region. So Russian Vladivostok which even by name did not become Russian look quite out of place and terribly disconnected from the rest of the Mother Russia. Perhaps much larger "Trans-Siberian Railroad" event is needed for AI Russia: once Russia got Railroads they should get 5 cities, each with defenders and Laborer, along the Transsib. The proposed cities are Omsk, Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk, Blagoveshchensk and Vladivostok.

I updated my script for checking VD units to check all eras. Only the Polynesian Industrial (late) Engineer is still bugged.

It should also check if the buttons are working. IIRC, the missing button CTD occurs when a city tries to build the unit, which the script now checks as well.

One of the Hints claims that Great Statesman can improve relations with foreign powers. I think it is no longer a case and thus needs to be redacted.

The Mongols nearly always found Irkutsk, But usually it gets conquered by China and almost never is acquired by Russia

Oh right, did not realize that... Sorry, not a bug then. But don't we think AI should be discouraged a little? Say, if La Mezquita would require some tech that Arabs don't have or require at least 50% of their own culture in the city.

And besides, can someone explain to me how Arabs in my game been able to place the third wonder in the city with just Developing culture?

Expired wonders stop counting for the limit.

The AI can be barred from building wonders needed by the human player's UHV until the human player spawns. I've done it before, and I might have to do it again for this case.
