Got a CTD right after I got my third UHV as Polynesia; it crashed right after showing the 'completed third UHV' pop-up but before showing the 'Polynesia has won a Historical Victory' pop-up. I reloaded and made a save file right before the expected crash. Second time around, it didn't crash, but it did display an error message: 'file not found Sound/Soundtrack/Victory' or something like that.
The dynamic name for vassals of the mughal empire should be Subah instead of Kewab. I have encountered no registers about kewab been a title or a word that means territorial or administrative division in the empire. The word Subah means province or state and also is used in Pakistan with the same meaning.
Since India is very great and diverse, it should be nice to correlate the dynamic name to the capital of the vassal civilization. For example this image below: would be better to name the Tamils Subah of Anuradhapura or Sri Lanka to evict wrong names with the civilization that is represented by the vassal at the moment.
Aemona Iulia should change to Emona under byzantine control
Spolato should be Spalatrum or Spalatro under byzantine control
Greece have the dynamic name "Kingdom of Greece" using the republic civic instead of Monarchy, Elective or Despotism.
When I moved my spy close to the turkic border, the mongol conqueror event have been triggered, which shouldn't happen since they are supposed to be invisible to the other players.
When using the Observer Mode I was unable to use Ctrl + Z to watch the civilization's progress during the autoplay. The code wasn't worked.
No, my capital wasn't in core area. Anyway, even with all forces back in capital - you can't declare war for Arabia for 20 turns. After what possobility to retun your cites moving to zero. The vanila RFC with flipping forces looks more better. IMO
And the qestion - golden age from lunar landing. Its intendent for 11 turns? Dont remeber whom i played - but i was needed 36 golden age turns - and turn out what lunar landing give you onle 11 turns (epic game speed)

In 1.6.7 all your forces move to your territory, so i didn't break the rule)
i expected, what cites im my core (even if they dont my capital and cites in my historical Egypt territory stay with me)))
Anyway, if my capital was in Core - and i have all my army in it - i cant do anything to return my cites(
So now i try to win space race with Egypt in 1.6.0)
This might be a "me" problem, but I just updated my version such that I am now starting through "Play Now" as opposed to "Play a Scenario". When I click "Ok" on the final screen to load the game, it crashes. Is there something that differs from the prior "Play a Scenario" versions on the install or something that I need to adjust? I have tried both the Git and ZIP file versions.
One thing I thought was off was after clicking "Play Now" and before selecting the year scenario, it asks me to pick a map (called "DAWN_OF_CIVILIZATION") despite not being able to adjust it (screenshots attached).

Yeah, the exact instructions are:
1) Find the CivilizationIV.ini in your Documents\My Games\Beyond The Sword folder, open it with a Notepad program.
2) CTRL+F for the line CheatCode variable, which by default is at 0.
3) Replace the 0 by chipotle, save the file.
e: Is there a way to tone down the city spamming tendencies of the AI, especially in the ancient era? I tested autoplay and it's 505 BC - Greece, Phoenicia, Babylon and India have four cities each, China five, Egypt six, with India and Egypt building another settler. Egypt in particular is ludicrous.
Another issue is that after a while the autoplay keeps spamming this error:
Traceback (most recent call last):

File "Events", line 17, in handler_func
File "Rise", line 76, in checkBirths

Not sure if it was reported before or if it's a problem with the installer version, but when I played as Babylon, the capital city displayed as 'Babil[]' with the text error box rather than displaying the accented 'u'. Bizarrely, this was only the case in some instances; the text displayed properly below the city itself, but in the Events log and in the Victory screen, it showed up with the error. See the screenshot below.
Let me know if you'd like me to upload a save game file as well.
In my french game, the world congress at 1762 AD, summoned no less then Amerca (which spawns at 1175AD, 13 turns later).
They obviously won their claim on Chicago and had an early start (if I allowed them). Savegame attached on the turn before.
Playing as Morish on game version 1.16.7 the first UHV part, where you have to conquer 2 cities in Ibera, does not seem to trigger correctly.
I counquered two Spanish cities in Ibera and yet the UHV still says 0/2.
Savegame attached on just before the second city was conquered.
I have not tested conquering cities in West Africa yet.
