Sounds good, I'll look at the code – I'm sure it is just a small bug somewhere.

Don't mean to sound naggy, but if you find that it's a simple fix (assuming it doesn't require a dll edit, which I fear it will) would you mind sharing the code? I've yet to actually finish a game since the early stages of the project and I'd like to change that with my current save :)

...Really? Why? I figured it was supposed to be 15% to match asceticism's 15% food. All the others come in pairs. Thrift and scholarship cap at 10% gold / science while inspiration and veneration cap at 5 culture / faith.

That sounds right. Sorry, didn't remember how we had it setup. :/

It'll require a dll edit, unfortunately.

Yeah it would be nice so separate possibly upcoming changes - which will affect savegame compatibility, from regular fixes. I just reached the era of my former savegame which was broken because of the trade-offer bug.

EDIT: So do you mean that the peace deal bug can only be fixed by a dll change?

Yes. As it stands right now, only one bug is lua-specific (the social policy one), but the fix for it will actually have to be done via DLL.

Um.

Spoiler :

Worth noting that was his entire GPT, and this occurred between turns when he offered to renew the previous deal (for 5 GPT). The deal definitely went through, and he had -7 GPT when his turn ended.

I've also been noticing plenty of situations where a civ will be willing to accept a (fair) deal, but puts nothing on the table when you ask them.

Edit: Yeah...it's actually a case of the AI willing to take ANY deal when it's their turn. Don't know why I didn't think to check this sooner.

2 games that I started with 0 city states crashed before I got to medieval era. 2 games I started with 1 city state did not. Is there a function in CP or CBP (not using other mods) that divides something by number of city states?

Looks like barbarians don't heal in their camps.

Angkor-wat and tribute increase city border expansion speed not by 25%. It's more like 40-50%.

Reconnaissance promotion gives xp for moving thru explored tiles.

Anexing puppet cities sometimes increases happiness.

I had a city on an island and its every tile except 1 hill had resource on it. After building candi no bonus resource was spawned on that hill.

Words missing in Naga-Malla tooltip description.

I've noticed this as well. Making a courthouse will bring the happiness back down. I think it's because annexed cities don't generate unhappiness from poverty / illiteracy etc. Only the standard annexed population unhappiness will apply. As a result, there are some situations where the annexed unhappiness will be lower. Honestly, I'm not sure this is actually a problem. It creates an interesting balance for the player to consider.

I'll fix it and post a better lua later.
G

Is a better policy pop-up lua available? I've encountered the same problem as DLimited did and i'm waiting for it. I can still continue my game because i enabled ALLOW SAVING POCILY but i couldn't adopt new policies.

Noooooo :cry::cry: So by fixing the peace deal bug you would have to make changes to the dll which will then result in a not savegame compatible new version?

I'll see what I can do – it'll be a little bit, ahem, funky, but I think I can make something. The actual (long-term) fix requires a DLL edit.

Correct. If you want to, you could always open the Firetuner and simply add the Gold to your side. Not ideal, but until Ilteroi finds and crushes the bug, there's not much I can do.

Yes I thought about this option. If the AI has the same problem, it would be somehow balanced..

Are you also taking balancing feedback (civs and policies), and if so what kind of feedback are you looking for?

Yes - whatever feedback you want to give. Start a new thread in the general balance forum or, if a civ, start a new thread in the leader balance forum.

I got the Adopt Policy bug today around turn 333. I can't advance because the game won't allow the policy window to pop up. So I'm kind of stuck. Is there a fix or is the save screwed?

I did as you told, then loaded save game but it still doesn't work. Do i have to start a new game?

C:\Users\Administrator\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS\Community Balance Patch (v 13)\LUA\Active\Standard CBP

It should work. Clear your cache and load your save. If it doesn't, post your LUA log.

Just wanted to note that the game crashes to desktop when picking the Oceania map. Other maps work fine as far as I can tell. Using the updated 3/6 version.

Oceania? Do you mean archipelago? I'll look at it either way – does it crash on map gen, or when you settle? If you can, upload the crashdump and I'll take a look.
