Strange minor visual bug. Yield icons are just disappearing off of my map, mostly in the general area around cities (but not all cities). Also, possibly related, there are a few cities on my minimap which are displaying the territory around them, but with no dot where the city itself is. Screenshot included below.

So currently there's not really any idea on why these CTD's are happening? Kinda a bummer if that's true and finding a solution may not happen.
 
So I have cleared my cache and have just the community patch installed and the UI is not working right. I took some screen shots. I disabled only the compatibility mod and the UI works but looks like the vanilla UI.

It is the vanilla game bug, when you reveal most of the map, it switches to "default" view, instead of having your capital at the center of it.

It would be nice to see some screenshots, but I assume that you installed the complete pack with EUI but only activated the Community Patch. Then you have to read the note on the "How to Install" thread under the (Core) version, you then have to delete two files. This is only necessary if you want to use the Community Patch only with EUI.
 
New game, epic speed, playing as Shoshone. Once again took the Civil Engineers Liberty Policy (tile improvement speed +25%). Before the policy, encampment improvement takes 10 turns. After the policy, the tool tip says 8 turns (10 * 25% = 2.5 turns, rounded, = 8). However, just like my previous post, the actual button and actual in game time is 9 turns to build them (on empty tiles, so nothing is interfering). Kinda sucks to get a 25% boost = 1 turn from 10... that's a 10% boost. Either the tool tip is wrong, or the policy is wrong, or it isn't applying correctly.

I'm assuming this is a minor bug, or already known, or doesn't matter. That's fine, and it isn't my business to tell someone how to run their mod. But at the very least, does someone know how to fix this? Is there a .ini or something that I can edit to make the changes for myself? Thanks!

I was playing as Ethiopia on Epic speed. The game said it would take 8 turns to build a plantation on the Coffee. Before I started it, I got the Liberty policy that gives +25% tile speed (I forgot its name sorry). It went from saying 8 turns to saying 7 turns in the tooltip, but the button still said 8, and it actually took 8 turns. Other "normal" (aka vanilla) resources took less time to improve, but the coffee never sped up. Maybe has something to do with being a more luxuries thing?

tldr; from my observations, either the liberty policy tile improvement speed bonus doesn't work on coffee (maybe others), or maybe it was just a glitch. I dunno

It's a quirk of EUI - EUI handles worker speed a little oddly, and doesn't like changes to worker speed.

Ahhh ok thank you. I was convinced it was screwing me over! :-D I appreciate your time and response (and the mod!!!!!!!)
 
Got another CTD as Ethiopia with the 10/1 versions sadly. Here's the minidump. Not sure what turn it was, but it was pretty early. Had only met Byzantium.

I reloaded and met montezuma the same turn it crashed and the game continued no problem, so it seems it may just be a leaderscreen error
 
I have a problem that whenever i put anything in the MODS folder the game crashes to desktop:i download manually and extracted the community patch folder to the MODS folder and it wouldn't even get to the menu screen,i tried removing the CP folder from the mods folder and i still can't run the game as it crashes before getting to the menu screem,what do i do?Uninstall the game?

The tooltips for many buildings are not working, whether in game setup or in game. I'm running no other mods, and installed CPP full with EUI from the single .exe file. The tooltips read "Assets/DLC/UI_bc1/Core/EUI_tooltips.lua:1251 : attempt to call field 'Building_CorporationResourceQuantity' (a nil value)". Any idea what's wrong? I've fully uninstalled the game (even manually deleting any residual content) and re-installed it and the mods twice, but the problem remains.

Did you clear your cache? Game setup won't work with EUI building information if you right-click on any of them - it'll break it (this is a flaw with EUI).

Thanks for the reply. I cleared my cache completely, just now as with installation, and the problem remains both in game setup and in game.

EDIT: I notice now that similar errors occur for other tooltips, such as mousing over tech.

Alright. So you installed these files in your MODS folder:

CP
CBP
CSD
C4DF
EUI-Compatibility files

And this in your Assets/DLC folder:

EUI (bc_1 is name of folder).

If this is so, and you are positive that there's no error of duplication or anything, check your civ install.

Oh, are you actually loading the mods? When you enable them, are you clicking back, or next? Back won't load them, but EUI will still load.
