Build 1.0.1 Patch 1

Around 6:30 AM this morning (all times CST, aka GMT+1), I booted up the game and it was no different (from what I saw) from yesterday.
I closed the game for breakfast and then started it up again at around 10:30 AM, probably right around when I posted in this thread (which was about ten minutes before your post), and I noticed that there were some UI improvements; there were now arrows showing which tiles were influencing yields if you hovered a building over a tile to build, and the tooltips for buildings showed the production costs of the buildings (maybe the same for units and wonders, I'm not sure).
Then, I closed the game a while later for lunch, and booted it up again probably around 1:30 PM, and these improvements were gone again.

Haven't booted up the game since (although I was playing up to about an hour ago), so I don't know if anything has changed after that, but I suspect they pushed something live, then found an issue and pulled it back. And, if the most recent posts are any indication, just pushed it to live again with a fix for whatever was wrong?
I've got (tothe last 8 hours or so) the arrows for (some) adjacencies too, but the production costs seems to be sometimes there, sometimes not. + the colored outline for rural/urban districts.
Updating now.

Hello Civ fans,

Today we're pushing out a small patch to address some immediate Advanced Access game issues. We are reading and collecting all of your player feedback, and while we'll have more to share on future patches at a later time, you can read our recent post to learn more about what we're prioritizing for the game in the meantime.

Today's patch is a focused set of fixes we had the ability to quickly and confidently ship. Please continue to send us your feedback on Steam and Discord.

Patch notes
  • General game stability improvements, including regional game crashes
  • Fixed a bug for players on Mac that were experiencing Mac system sounds whenever keypresses were made in game

I had 2 problems:
1. Game fatally crashed on one of the intro videos
2. The game showed popup about fatal error, but continued to work in absolutely normal way

The patch fixed second one, but not the first. Pretty funny.

They fixed the Merchant window. Sort of.

Now when your merchant reaches a city to trade with, you click the name of that city (dunno why that's necessary) and then click a new "Confirm" button on the bottom of that window. You can also still click the button on the right-hand side for making a trade route.

CORRECTION: The merchant doesn't even need to be in the settlement you want it to trade with. You can select the settlement's name from the list and click Confirm without even leaving your own territory. I'm not sure that's working as intended.

CORRECTION AGAIN: Not moving the Merchant to the destination city is apparently a modern age thing, not that it was every explained anywhere

My issue with merchants is that I have to keep track of where I have sent them. For example, a merchant is created, I sent it off to Edo. Before it arrives, another merchant is created. Since I have yet to actually form the route with Edo, Edo is still on the list of potential targets. I have to remember that one is already en route to Edo and choose another target. A system like Civ 6 where you choose the target settlement and commit to it would be welcome.

I'm not seeing this new confirm button at all

Pre-patch I did not experienced any crashes, post-patch the game crashed immediately while loading a save, twice, then it finally loaded, and now I've just had another crash while in transition to the modern age.

I just had a crash during age transition as well, 0 problems before this patch.

Maybe it's just in the Modern Age? I can't boot up the game just now to look at my new Antiquity game

I had the antiquity to exploration age crash on my first game, which was before the patch.
