I've also tried PerfectMongoose_v310 which I used with Rom/AND and from a quick test it looks like resources are ok (still no mammoth anyway) but features like kelp, reef and similar aren't included in the map at all. Since I don't know how mapscripts work, I suppose this is normal anyway and probably the mapscript has to be altered in some way.
Next step:
I need more locations for savannah and muddy terrain types. As of now, I only have East Africa for savannah, and I have no idea where muddy should go since peat bog, swamp, and marsh already exist.
Bamboo's already taken care of.
If anyone wants to help out with the 200 bc scenario, I'd love the help. Attached is what I've edited so far. I don't know where to go next, on account of the map CTDing whenever I try to start it. As soon as it doesn't ctd, I will finish the editing in full. Until then, I'm stuck.

That's odd... works fine for me.... do you have the latest svn?
Latest edit to the GEM. Updated terrain types, added dates, coconut palms, cacti, removed Celts, added Yue and Cholan Empires to give China and India some company, increased default difficulty for India (since it always seems to blast ahead of everyone else). Added Huns.

On a more personal note, I find this map exceedingly easily if you play a civ outside of western europe. Ridiculously easy. Even with flexible difficulty and city limits, I find myself with clearly evident victory by 2000 BC at latest. Kinda bums me out.
Fyi Game crashes if you try to play as Cholan empire.
Way down the line: I want to adapt the 200 bc scenario to C2C.

Second, at the very least Carthage (and probably others) don't have the proper resources/terrain in their historical area - there's no Ivory+Coast+Desert spots in North Africa, which the Carthaginian Culture requires.
.
EDIT: Ugh, continued looking through the xml of the map. You realize you added the Hittites too, right? Placed them on the Ottoman's old starting location at Ankara, and threw the Ottomans off past the Aral Sea.
Actually I changed the Carthaginian Culture to fish instead of Ivory since Zulu Culture already had Ivory.
You can see the updated list here.
Thanks for the info on the XML stuff, I'll get that wrapped up!
As far as the hittite-ottoman thing, the reason I changed those spots was to have the ottomans as a representative of the turkic steppe peoples, and have the hittites at their original location. I could place the huns where the turks are currently located, but that wouldn't be as accurate IMO, and it would give Russia too much room to expand. I'll look through the culture buildings and do accurate resource placement for all the civs in the next release (in the next couple days).
Thanks!
