Maybe we should add spreadable memes.
After v23 is out I will need three new promotions for the diplomat units.
They will increase the chance of success of missions and mission outcomes. They could also be called "Gift of the Gab" or something else indication eloquence of speech and power to convince.

Which brings up a question - should the adjustment to mission success go on the promotions file like with other chance changes or on the mission and outcome definitions as it is currently?

2. I thought we had Napalm already as a promotion.
3. I thought this was a promotion already.
4. Use the icon from Realism Inviticus that we did not use that had the fire stuff. (aka Fire promotion)
Some of the new promotions are really strong, maybe they need a higher prerequisite (since promotions are easier to get in c2c).
Also whats the deal with the AI always choosing those two promotions (continue to get xp once you've reached cap for barbs + animals) as there like 2nd or 3rd promotions. Its not a good strategy![]()
1. I would simply adjust the success rates in the OutcomeInfos.xml, looking at the code it seems easier.
2. So, what is the status of the Barbarian Envoys? Are you going to re-add them after you get back?
@Hydro: OK, so for after the Freeze I would like the following icons;
Silver Tounge is as DH requested. Napalm Bombs is something I'm planning to add Flammibility when the unit bombs a city, now that Flammibility will actually do something. The Bandit Promos are the +Crime promos, and the Fire Ship promo allows you to suicide the unit it is on against the enemy (by filling the ship with flammables and setting it on fire, then pushing it towards the enemy fleet). Could you please make these icons by the time the Freeze ends? Thanks in advance.

I am considering moving the promotions that give XP above the limit to require other promotions. At the moment they do not. I was going to go for woodsman II or Gurella II as a prereq for the animal one, I just need to make sure you can still get it.![]()
1. I may have said mission when I meant outcome - I am not well.
2. That is what the promotions are for. I am just merging the two "barbarian" diplomacy mods into one and renaming the unit to a diplomat. The problem is that it was appearing as a "female" unit which may mean that the art definition is conflicting with another art definition.

ls... You did get the revamped graphics I posted for the streetfighter promos right? I'm just wondering if I can remove them from the upload data since I have a limit of course.
Hydro, would you please make the icons for these promotions? I am holding back on the flaming bombs right now, because I'm not quite certain how to do it with the 'old' property system, but the others seem doable. Thanks in advance.![]()

What's the color background going to be for diplo promos? I can try to work those out if you like?
And the Bandit promos should be named Troublemaker I-III. Those would have a blue back right?
