C2C SVN Changelog

Updates
Added different costs to outcome missions:
  • bKill to determine if the unit is consumed (default true)
  • iCost makes the mission cost gold
  • PropertyCost adds a cost in properties to the mission (PayerType determines which game object type associated with the unit pays the property cost)

<puts on pedantry hat>: AI updated for the mission costs? (reminder more than neccessarily a question)

-----MAJOR ART UPDATE:-----

After working diligently for some time, I was finally able to Mass Update almost HALF of all units in C2C. You should see many outstanding changes, some examples:

-Replaced all Dog units
-Replaced all archery units
-replaced all melee units
-replaced all ancient units, (neader, clubman, slinger etc)
-replaced all stealth, spy, and rouge type units

You put the music files into the respective era New folder (e.g. PrehistoricNew), then run the game and load a game or start a new one. The script moves the music file to the normal era folder (e.g. Prehistoric) and does all the necessary changes in the XML files.

Oops! I put them in the wrong folder (Put it in the old prehistoric). I will go fix.

Holy.... :faint:

GREAT job, as always, and keep up the good work. :goodjob:

I believe "we" need to do what alot of other mods are doing about the audio files being added, and that is make a completely NEW d/l, like DH did for the LHs/Long Movies, cause just that little bit you just added was 25.8 MB of space, and we're getting kind of high now, thats why i didnt add any that Praetyre had made. IMO

Are all of these belonging in the base FPKs or are some belonging in my or Hydro's FPK? It would be nice to know so we can keep the FPKs right, ie not have apparent duplicate files so not know which FPK the button is coming from.

I have not gotten all of Praetyre's stuff for long movies in because the method I am using requires a short movie exist. Currently if one does not exist we usually default to the long movie but that is a bit too much. I need to get back to that along with other stuff.

*nods* I just put those in since I always intended to give Prehistoric Era a default sound track like we did for Galactic Era.

Any more (and I do have more) can be added in that method. However I was surprised Praetyre never released his pack. I wanted to know what music he had in there.

I think they belong in JosEPh_II's FPK. But he should add the 3D filter to them so you can use the 3D glasses we are selling. In fact all of C2C will eventually get converted into 3D for a more in in-depth play.

So you're saying I see through rose color glasses only half the time! And the blue side when I get moody? :mischief:

And if I have an FPK pack I want the Original Dido in it not the one we have now! She was Much better looking. The one we have now is out of proportion. The original had the Whole package and a charming mystique to her. :D

JosEPh ;)

While working on the Great farmer files i forgot to include the python callback for the new resources.
Here it is for an update to the SVN.

Update:
-New Armor M60 Icon
-Removed black border from Assualt ship, Babary Corsair

---------NOTE
in C2C FKP, mVunits and mWunits share duplicates.
A lot of duplicates. I don't know whether the art defines are all the same, but from my updates I can tell you that the m60.dds & RollsRoyce.dds in MVunits are redundant and should be deleted.

Eh, I think this won't work either, at least for the ones who use the SVN version directly to play.

The right way is this:
  • Add the music files to the New folder of the version you use to play
  • Run the game once and load/start a game
  • Now the music files will be in the Prehistoric folder and no more in PrehistoricNew
  • Commit both the music files and the changed XML files
