C2C SVN Changelog

I have made a mistake with the unitsinfos file over writing ls612's latest changes. My changes are trivial to the point that they aren't needed. How do I get rid of my changes to that file and get everyone back to ls612's?

1. Change the Tesla Infantry, Special Infantry, and Hi-Tech Sniper units to have SPECIALUNIT_TROOP.

2. Change the Robot Imperial Guard to have UNITCOMBAT_ASSAULT_MECH and the Modern Imperial Guard to have UNITCOMBAT_GUN. That should fix everything IIRC.
 
I had earlier been using v23, and today decided to download and start using the SVN version. I play at Marathon/Immortal, and with rev 2813, I've noticed that, in comparison to v23, tech costs have approximately tripled or so, while building costs have remained exactly the same. Is this WAD, or have I messed up my SVN install, etc.? Thanks!

Is it?? I don't think this IS a bug. Didn't ls612 go through and increase tech costs a fair bit for some eras recently? I'm thinking it's likely deliberate.

yeah, there is a slight issue when you compare how many beakers a tech costs to how many you are making, and the number of turns it will take to research, since the era multipliers that were used (if i recall correctly) doesn't seem to be used when displaying the cost. with 6.7k beacons per turn it will take me 19 turns to research something that costs 26.7k beacons, might confuse people.

Siounds like a hover text bug or something. Can you clarify where in the UI the various inconsistent numbers are displayed please. It migth also be a pedia issue if you are getting one of your numbers from there, since the pedia displays in a context-free manner and so doesn't incorporate modifiers.

Correct, it is deliberate.
Its in the rebalancing timelines thread I think.

The discussion has mostly been in the C2C Balance thread, but also in the Timelines and other threads.
