C2C SVN Changelog

Updates
Barbarian player does not get player wide unhappiness now and no unhappiness for barbarian player from too many cities (that probably crippled him).
Fixed an OOS issue in regards to founding on peaks.

It's going to be tomorrow before I push my various bug fxes from today - talin's disappearing resources is proving tough to track down ( but I'm making progress, and am confident if a fix tomorrow)

Update
- remove platyping projects for now.

@StrategyOnly, I don't have a problem with the SVN. Try running TortoiseSVN -> Clean Up on yours.

Nope still crashes:blush: Will NOT load at all.

EDIT: I tried another copy of the SVN, CTD.
I tried an export, CTD.
I even tried using the direct SVN as a load, CTD (and i never use it otherwise)

So something is definitely wrong there in the SVN someplace. It doesnt even list 1716 or 1714 anyplace????

OK here's what i did to get AT LEAST a copy working:

1. I tried "reverting" one by one downward from 1715 all the way down to 1710, still crashes.

2. BUT, i tried from a working copy of 1709, and working "upward" i got all the way to 1713 without any crashes, but when it asks about the dll to use the revision one, i choose that one, and not the previous one.

Changed thread to v20 Bugs/Crashes where this belongs.

@strategyonly

Is it currently giving people problems if you update all the way or only if you uploaded earlier today? I am not very clear on how you revert.

Do you do "revert to this version"? If so which one?

Or do select "revert changes from this revision"? If so which ones?

I really wish I did not delete my playing copy this morning.

@Koshling - i have fixed resource bug, reading this - http://forums.civfanatics.com/showpost.php?p=11246537&postcount=4329 (A New Dawn bugs forum thread)

Pressing Ctrl-Shift-T

hope it will help you.

seems problem isn't purely C2C related
AND uses the same DLL as C2C (as it is originally based on AND and Afforess recently moved AND to the C2C DLL with slight modifications).

Ctrl-Shift-T triggers the modifier recalculation. That is a feature Koshling introduced that recalculates all accumulated values from first principles. That means while normally the sum of the effects of all buildings in a city is stored directly in the city object, this feature ignores the current sum and sets it to the current sum of the building effects.
So if there is corruption in the accumulated values, then this feature likely fixes it.
Its main use is that when you update C2C, then this recalculation actually applies the effects of changes in the building values.

So even if this helps, I am sure Koshling will still want to find out why it happened in the first place.

I already have it under the debugger from Talin's game. I should hve a fix later today. Recaclulating will fix it as Talin says, but until I put a proper fix in it will just break a again a few turns later

It does indeed break every few turns. At least i can continue my game till Koshling roots the cause of it.

Well, my main concern was that those weekends i would spend with my lovely Zulu game and some cognac :) Since it's so damn cold now in Moscow to go outside and do anything :mischief:

Is the load-time error issue sorted out in the current SVN? Safe to update?

I don't know about "safe" but I was able to load up the game without it crashing after doing the latest SVN update.

Checking the SVN logs, it looks like DH updated with his working copy data a few hours ago, so that probably fixed it.

I just got started with the SVN version, and I noticed that Assets\XML\Audio\AudioDefines.xml is giving the red ! icon when it's copied into my Mods folder. Is this something that needs editing? I get the red checkmark icon when the files are in C:\development\C2C.
