C2C SVN Changelog

Is it bad that I see a red exclamation mark over the SVN file instead of a green check? It's because I enabled viewports.

It is normal when you change something in your local copy. Like enabeling modules :) Or the buildings/wonder display.
Next update just tries to merge your local file with the SVN one, changes in the global defines usually pose no problem there ( and no, you don´t have to enable viewports again after each update :) )

This is one reason why you are recommended NOT to play directly from your SVN working copy. It also means that you may not get changes to that file if it gets updated again in the release now you have an unmerged local version

The easiest way to get rid of it is: Follow the red ! and where ever that is just do a "regular" delete of it, NOT a SVN delete of it, then do an update and poof back to normal.

No need, you can just use "revert". But then he probably changed those things for a reason.

Update
Improved help text generation for expressions. Usage of brackets has been significantly reduced.

What is"Pests"?

I click on my SVN folder (located on my desktop) and click update. When it is done, I export it to a folder in C:/. Then, I copy the contents of that folder into my SVN folder in Mods, and overwrite what I need to. My SVN# is 3762, but I keep seeing people saying that they have later versions than mine (>#3800). I don't think the SVN has updated once since I first used it. Am I doing something wrong?

You do right click on the C2C folder and select "SVN Update" don't you.

Do not overwrite anything. Delete your old copy of the mod entirely either by deleting the whole Caveman2Cosmos folder or ALL files and folders inside it. (In the mods folder, NOT the SVN folder on the desktop.)
If you delete the entire folder then recreate the Caveman2Cosmos folder so it has to be totally EMPTY.

Then when you click on the SVN folder on your desktop and select Export... you have to navigate to your empty Caveman2Cosmos folder. When the export is done you can start the mod.

Periodically you right click on your SVN folder and select SVN update to see if there was an update, if there was, then your desktop folder is always updated to the LATEST version. After update you delete your old Caveman2Cosmos folder (inside the .......Beyond the Sword\Mods folder) or all files and folders inside it and export the newest version into it as written above.
