C2C SVN Changelog

It would still make sense to have atlatls be able to (almost) laterally upgrade to archers - particularly if archery is still tech-wise later than the atlatl but that's 4 str to 4 str right? Unless atlatls are reduced to 3 str themselves.

I hope I don't offend anyone when asking this, but where do you download the updated SVN? I've looked through the forums and can't find a direct link, however, I have the latest version 33. Thanks for any help ahead of time.

I would like to point out though that a few barbarian horsemen are capable of withdrawing combat of my troops and hiding in my own city. I had a dozen troops with high walls in my city, used a swordsman against the horsemen and he withdrew into my city. The barbarian unit was just shadowed in the inventory like a spy is when it's in someone's city.

The first post of this thread explains how to get the SVN version of c2c. If it is not clear or does not work it means that I need to update it again so it would be good to know if you have troubles with what is there.

There is a bug forum for posting bugs however what you describe sounds like a feature of c2c as criminal units and other hidden nationality units look like they are barbarians but aren't. The fact you can't directly get them out of your city is a known bug which no one is working on at the moment.

And i hope no one does either. Remembering that a person next door can be a Thief/Robber/etc etc, as in nowadays a computer Identity Thief. they are every where.

-Tweaked Tribal Warfare

I ended up giving it 40 free unit support, 40 free military unit support, +1 gold cost per unit and +1 gold cost per military unit: apparently the dll does clearly differentiate units by military and otherwise so both needed to be adjusted and I felt that since they needed to be divided 40 free each was about right. Testing in my game at a very appropriate era to gain benefit from the civic showed it worked like a charm. I also made sure, in the code, that the +1 cost wouldn't start to count until unit counts had exceeded the free support count.
 
6877 update

- Added new animal - Armadillo
- Allow Arctic Fox to spawn in Antarctica also. Strictly sticking to Earth normal means that on random maps there are huge areas of the southern hemisphere where no land animals spawn because on Earth they are ocean.

@Tbrd when you have chance can you look at the Arctic Fox and Armadillo unit files (all four) to make sure I a adding in all the new stuff correctly. Thanks, I wont merge them in until you have had a chance to look.

I think I'm gonna need a thread so I can track new unit submissions for review but sure... glad to do that for ya and I'm happy to see new animals going in now!

Ditto, here, here!!:) Do "WE" have a bird named the "Raven" (or crows) by any chance, remember Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds." They attacked a whole town.

We have crows. "The Birds" was originally written by Daphne du Maurier. In it the birds tried to wipe out all humans. Only one family survives in the story. The more modern movie is closer to the book. It even mentions the events in the Hitchcock movie as being historical.

Thanks! Got it now, as I was originally reading that, I thought it was only for modders.

If any of you would like some help cleaning up the civi/sevo pedia, I would gladly do so as well as find or mention any xml issues.
