7063 fixed error reported by Stormwind for GATHERER_AFRICAN, needed folder name changed.

The error, apart from possible problems with the paths lies in the line
<Type>ART_DEF_UNIT_GATHERER_AFRICA</Type>
It's missing an N in AFRICAN, line 54282
 
@All modders please don't add anything except bug fixes. No additions at all even if it is to fix/extend current content.

Can we fix the problem with the African Worker and maybe the font files only so we can get a version "signed off" as the release version.

fixed africa gatherer artstyles was wrong

7065 it wasn't missing an N the artstyles had an extra N on the end, but now fixed.

whats wrong with the worker African?? or was it the gatherer i just fixed

make sure you change the python "CvModName"
 
Yes, particularly please put a deep freeze on new units until the end of the release so I can review the most recently submitted in prep for the release.

There should not have been any new units lately, that i know of?
 
Just started new game on v6035 and 3rd tun in game bombs due to missing artstyle.

We are up to v7065 and fixing art style problems is almost all we are fixing now. In fact v7065 was supposed to fix the last.

You also need to say which art styles were missing since we have dozens of civs in C2C you may just have been the only one to get a particular civ in a game.

Oh and also bugs should be reported on the bugs thread. Thanks.

Can i update the Xsd Schema validation for the Xml files. This includes a new Dll, updating all the Xml files and finally remove all the old Schema files. I could do this today or i wait.
 
Actually, I'm not the authority but I'd think it'd be a great idea to get that in now so that we start working with it immediately after the release. That's if it's really finished and tested at least.
 
Unless of course it introduces errors. The whole point of a freeze is to remove as many errors as possible without introducing any new ones. @alberts2 what is the risk of introducing that validation before the release verses the benefits from having it there? If it is something that is mainly aimed at helping modders make fewer mistakes then I would prefer it be added after the release.

There is very low risk now because of the freeze i was able to fix all the Xml errors. But after the release everyone starts pushing lots of new stuff in and i have to fix all their errors again before i can commit my changes.

I wait another week or two until i commit my changes.

Fixed the missing BUILDING_EQ_NAT_PLUS7.

Why did you do an artdefines for this when there is ALREADY one right above it??

No offense but the African artdefines are not alphabetical, like i asked, "I'm Just Sayin"

Reason i do that is because of the artstyles, that way you can look at the artdefines AND the artsyles at the SAME time and compare them to MATCH each to each other.

Words of advise: BEFORE committing them to the SVN, ALWAYs do a check , its easy.

Start a game, go into the WB on any junk map and place EACH and EVERY unit on that map you JUST made. that way you can see if it works or not, and make sure you move it also, after you get out of the WB, see simple.:p;)

See you got offended, and that is NOT the point of what i said, i was just saying you got to be careful is all. And even if you messed up like this, its no biggy ordinarily, but we wanted a release this weekend is all, otherwise, it didnt matter that much.:p

There isnt a person in the modding community here that has not made a few, if not alot of mistakes, again no biggy.
