C2C SVN Changelog

In the most recent SVN, I got an error that ART_DEF_UNIT_ZEBRA_CUIRASSIER_GREEK wasn't found. I got similar errors for the other Zebra units when I tried to look at their pedia entries.

Also, the Plasmathrower's Plasmathrower is hot pink.

The Greek Gatling Gun is a red blob.

7270
- fixing Greek Zebra problem
- removing Gatling Blob problem
- adding less pinkish weapons to plasmathrower

Updates

- Move Bugs resource in with others.
- Turn MrAzure Insects buildings etc off.
- Finish Route Pedia page.

Is Bug Resource produced by the Bug Gatherer now? And is the obsolation removed?

7272

- fixed ancient flamethrower sound and effects
- fixed red blob stons in stone thrower units

Updates (SVN# 7274/7275)
  • Updated Unit Upgrade costs under Size Matters

  • Added Cargo Prerequisite to canKeep function

  • Major rework of Ranged Bombardment - includes combat classes providing the basis for enabling the ability. Currently working on the next step - analyzing units themselves for improvements over the base values. 3rd step will be promotionlines to support the structure. And then I'll be working on some AI improvements for its use.

  • Reworked the way I'm denying Barbarians the ability to spawn Heroes as I think the way it was done might be causing some trouble for Python somehow.

  • Bugfix for Size Matters Extra Strength calculations from promos.

WARNING

I will be deleting MORE Custom Civs from the Custom Civilization module section/folder. So only like 2 are left. So beware, if you have games with these Civs or leaders in your current game it WILL NOT work after i do this, so keep a copy if you still want to play your current game. Mainly because the dll is messed up now.

The world map (SEM) I am currently working on - and I was about to release a big update (including Latitude/Longitude changes, plus much more) contains the following custom civs.

Aborigine
Apache
Cherokee
Congo
Huns
Iroquois
Jivaru (NEW)
Moari
Tibet
Tupi.

Are you deleting these from C2C?

If so, I guess I should abandon my work on SEM (for public release), as no one will be able to play it. :(

I'm taking a guess at what SO's gonna say on this but I believe all you'll need to do is include the civ files in the map upload.

I thought that, but would most players want to have to copy all the relevant files into the correct folders? Every time they updated the game!

This will also effect the more popular GEM scenario.

I thought this change in the custom civs loading xml file:

<Module>
<Directory>Ainu</Directory>
<bLoad>0</bLoad>
</Module>

would be sufficient.

My tests showed a saving. Did removing the reference in the xml file and deleting the civs folders show a bigger saving?
