A Quextal Bowman is Killed by Knights north of Yaxchilan.

Conquistadors cut the road from Tikai and the Capital City.

A Javelin Thrower and Settler are attacked S of Copas. Two workers are captured.

Meanwhile..Spain launces her newest fighting Ship..The Santa Catarina do monte Sinai, 140 gun Man of War. Destined to add her gun support against the Mayans!

Had some problem saving my save in the way we were doing and so had to play my turn over a couple of times. When I would go to attach the save, Yahoo mail wouldn't attach it. So I had Sercer resend his save, played the turn, and then let Civ name the save. Which did finally work in allowing me to attach that save and send to Botman. I asked him to save his save as we had been doing.

As to the turn results..the repeat play was a little more advantageous in a couple of battles with the Mayans!

First, Spain defenders south of Copas sustain an attack by Mayan bowmen and archers. 2 Bowman and an Archer are killed and Spain loses a Pikeman.

Spainish Frigates passing thru from the Gulf of Mexico and on the way back to Spain bombard Mayan improvements.

Meanwhile a Spainish Convoy outbound to and inbound from the Colonies meet in the Canary Islands for the first time. And the 1st Spainish Fleet comprised of its newest 140 Gun Men of War sail out from South America enroute to its home port.

Epic battle shaping up between Spain and the Mayans south of our city of Copan....

Spain loses a Pikeman and Conquistador..while killing off 2 Mayan Archers and 3 Bowman. Fresh forces augment their brave comrades.

Meanwhile..The Spainish Colonial Army continues its slow trek up through the Central American Istmus...

Elements of the 1st Spainish Armada cross the Atlantic on their long journey to the homeland. The journey will allow its sailors to gain much needed experience in trans-ocean convoy duty.

And valuable treasure reaches the Capital.
