I downloaded it last night and gave it a short test run as Spain.
Those invisible units are really annoying!

If you need another player, I'll give it a try, any Civ is OK.

Rebellion's hidden feature has been removed. Too much hassle and the AI was no good against them.

then i will try it out & hopefully it will work ok, but not being able to build arab horseman when everything in the editor indicates i should have been able to bothers me.

Lou - I just looked up gallowglass again, and according to Webster's and many websites it's gallowglass (not galloglass), and the other spelling I found was as mentioned earlier galloglas - but your spelling version definitely seems wrong

Hi all, I will release v0.98 tomorrow with files update as well. More complete than anticipated so we will actually playtest with it.

OK, v0.98 cancelled. v0.99 includes the modified pcx files and a Landsknecht static picture from Kinboat (thank you Kinboat).
Try to launch the game with it and please confirm it is working (or not) in here.
We will start the playtest immediately after with that one.

i downloaded everything & then loaded vs 0.99 w/ no problems.

However, with the Maghrib I can still only build Arab Spears, no Arab Horses & no Arab Cannons, but I can no longer build trebs. Does anyone else have this same problem? I will not really be able to do any real playing of the scenario until this weekend, during the week my civ time is devoted almost exclusively to PBEM.

@ Predesad : it is normal you cannot build cannons. Some are given to you at the start in precise locations, the others you have to build but first you have to research the techs (smae for pirates).
So at the beginning you should only be able to build Arab horsemem and Arab spears.
But apparently there is a problem with Arab horsemen, the same way Portuga cannot build gallowglass in Ireland...
Anybody else gets that pb (I cannot compare as I have got all files).

OK, I have found AND solved the problem for gallowglass and Arab horsemen.
Just in the biq file so no need to change anything in your setting. It will work OK in the MP version.

I like to go random typically, so I'll just take whoever is left.

Am I misunderstanding something since I'm assuming we're playing this game to the end? It's refered to as a test, and obviously some bugs and such will be revealed, but that doesn't mean we stop playing all of a sudden, does it?
