C3C PBEM : "Yap" - WWII pacific scenario PBEM (level : newbees)

I think it would only be fair to await instruction from Howitis ... :D ... after all it is his go :coffee:

 Anyway with my luck :twitch: I'll end up running his entire bloody navy aground on some obscure atoll :dubious:

Turns away while muttering about the unfairness of war :gripe:

I appreciate the civ monkeys jumping and screaming on all our respective backs ... however as stated before ... I will not take Howitis' turn without his expressed permission ... :nono:

... saying that ... I was frustrated and just a little pissed off that it took 2 days before a request for a resend was made ... we have to work on that guyz :shakehead

Other than that I can confidently say that we are all having fun  and judging from the thread viewing counter  ... many others are as well ... tally is 1265

So i guess we all await with baited breath ... the game to continue :coffee:

For a couple days anyway, I just assume that real life has intruded. It happens...

I didn't realize that the file was supposed to be sent to me...

I'm enjoying the game too but also find it a little slow. My turn doesn't take that long because China has pretty limited resources so it can seem like a long time between turns. Anyway, time to turn our attention again to wiping out the Japs!

That should change for each of us as the techs get researched and shared.

Once I get Amphibious war, things pick up for the dutch...

I think all the allies must still be in shock after your brilliant taking of Singapore ;) :cringe: :hatsoff: ... come on Yankee pull your finger out :p

I thought he was only going for a week...

I have requested the USA password from Loulong and also for John_J_Sheridan (Japan) to send the latest save to me ... :( this because Howitis has not posted on this thread nor replied to my e-mail ... I hope his absence is temporary :)

I prefer not to play another gamer's turn ... however we are losing the momentum ... and enjoyment factor

So I propose to take one turn and if Howitis has not posted on the thread or e-mailed me ... I would like to find another player to take over ... ...

I do appreciate that Face Space does sometimes interfere with our On-Line activities ... so I hope I'm not acting too hastily ... I'm just frustrated that this entertaining game has become unexplainably frozen ...

So what do the rest of you think  (PM or e-mail me if you prefer not to post comments on thread)

June 1942 Turn sent
===============

Empire Hotel - a pub somewhere in Melbourne, Australia

Jack "You right Mate?"
Dave "No Mate, bit down"
Jack "Tom?"
Dave "Yeah, we think he was in Singapore"
Jake "Bloody Hell ... listen mate we both know Tom's a tough bastard, he'll be right"
Dave "Yeah, a tough bastard"
Jake hands Dave a double scotch
Dave "Thanks Mate"
Jack "On the house"
Jack turns away and serves others while Dave drinks the scotch in silent thought.

Actually I should have stated this earlier  ... but I guess I got all excited that the game was moving again ;)

Thanks Magzi for helping the game out ... I was afraid that if we waited much longer it would have been RIP.

I trust that it will be an enjoyable experience for all :D and that we'll kick Japan's ass :p

Oh and here's a cute one ... :mischief:

Easter is the time of stealing the neighbors eggs and also checking on the rabbit traps  love the sound of kiddies crying

I will be occasionally checking in (depends on weather ;) )

BTW - Hope you guyz are enjoying the Flavour Pickies ... some are pretty wild :p
