The Greeks seem to go for 3 hoplites tops defending their cities...

Next turn we should acquire some Iron and Dyes to trade,
if anyone has any Rubber and other luxuries?

We acquire an elite Cavalry.
Our audacious attempt to acquire an MGL by an elite warrior attacking a Hoplite over a river fails....

We sell off all our walls, as we are about to acquire the Great Wall from Thermopylae.
Net result... not much cash... no walls..

:smoke: Nice move there on the Great Wall! Ouch.

Just another turn in the Iroquois Nation...

Thessalonika and Pharsalos fall into our hands,
..and, for some reason, we feel compelled to also make a minor tour of Knossos.

However, these are dark days for the Byzantines..
..we awoke to find a cavalry missing

Curiously, the otherwise surefooted Iroquois seem to have stumbled onto our territory.
We assure our most noble friends that our Great Wonders are not due to become tourist attractions for pretty much another 1000 years.

We presented the Mayans with the option of leaving our territory or declaring war.
They appeared to reflect maturely upon this, and we remain at peace.

Our Great Eastern Railroad heads in search of a mythical Samarkand, but anyway now straddles 90% of the width of our continent.
We shall shortly form a new spur, heading for Lutetia Junction, where rubber fetishists may practice their allegedly murky delights.

However, the associated rapid acquisition of new towns presents us with the need for renewed generation of muskets.

Our trade advisor is dismayed to find that our new surplus of Dyes appears to be without need in the rest of the world.

The Iroquois wandering explorer apologizes to Byzantia for his tresspass. It seems the borders changed between turns. Perhaps a cultural boundary push? Anyhow, he has moved on, wandering the rocky land of the upstanding Mayans.

The Inca continue to try and maintain good relations with all nations. We are a peacefull nation of farmers and flamingo hunters (we have a thing for their pink feathers).
