Cashing in on the huts

We can see three huts. I don't know the odds by heart, but it seems unlikely that we'll get more than one tech. It also seems unlikely that we'll get any settlers. No other useful stuff can be had I think.
So the tech had better be an expensive one. Meaning we shouldn't pop huts until the cheap ones are researched or traded for. That means all first tier, perhaps also second tier. Perhaps we can wait until we only need Construction and Polytheism from the AA. Hopefully we will meet Celts/Persians soon and can trade for the cheap stuff.
The hut near the capital will pop in some 30 turns by culture expansion. For the others, the safest method (no barbs) is by plopping a town next to them, as killercane suggested somewhere.
Of course we will at some point need to screen these huts, so that others cannot pop them.
