I've seen chocolate crosses with and with out Jesus attached at sale in many places. Just not as big as the OP Jesus and they had a loin cloch.

BBC just showed the statue on news, it looked quite good. I was too lazy to actually listen what the fuzz was about. It has lots of calories though, exact number was mentioned. Eat Jesus, get fat and have your sins forgiven.

To bring it back, do you think that the exhibition should have been cancelled? Should the owner have held out against the emails and phonecalls? Or did he do the right thing by removing it?

He did the wrong thing by caving into the christians. There was nothing wrong with the display. But threats from christians to protest en mass and disrupt your business is hard to fight against. It all came down to $$$$ and the guy didn't want to lose a bunch because of some oversencitive people got their panties twisted.

Huh? IIRC, American Catholics are one of the most liberal groups of Catholics in the world.
