While trying to load my save (max compat.) with last svn revision (355 atm), i've got this
![]()
and then ctd.
Any way to bypass this and not to start a new game?
Fix in patch thread and also pushed to SVN.

I give up.
I have set the graphics to LOW and using the tiny map, I still get "memory allocation error".
I don't understand why ROM - AND plays perfectly with HIGH graphics and standard map, but C2C doesn't. Is there that much different in the memory allocation between the two games?![]()

SVN revision #369
I constantly got CTDs at first turn. Even I got CTDs when browsing civilopedia.
JosEPh said:I bet you are letting Windows control your memory allocation. Should be set for best performance (or custom) and Programs not "Let Windows....". Page file size should be at least 2048. And if you have more than 2GB of ram set even higher. I of course am assuming you know where to find this on your computer and adjust accordingly.
If you can play AND 1.75 and above you should be able to play this mod on Medium Graphics and Standard maps with at least 6 AI.

I just pushed some changes to SVN that reduce the mod's memory usage by a bit over 150M. These chnages should appear in a full release soon, but meanwhile I also uploaded the DLL to the patches thread. Could you try it and see if it makes any difference for you please.
When i go to the Civpedia no tech show up at all!
This is looking more and more like we have a tech issue.
Hmm, well the only thing I changed in the tech file were the quotes and the references of where to find to find sound files etc. All the same procedure I used when I pushed a few changes almost a week ago.
But by all means if something I did screwed it up, please let me know. I backed up the files I changed with the most recent SVN at the time, so if need be, I can supply those to set it back.
Hi,
I created a great commander lately and moved him around with an army, but after dozens of battles he didn't get any xps nor did the control count change after each fight. Do commanders 'work' only when a certain tech has been researched?
Regards..
Well could you list all the stuff you changed? Then it will be much easier to track down if there is a problem. Such as a missing < or something.
JosEPh: My page file is over 3000, so I don't think that is the problem.
Koshling: If I understand correctly, I will need to download some SVN program to download the DLL. Is that correct?
OK. Tried a few things and have gotten further.
Set all the graphic levels to medium and playing on a tiny map. The game STARTS!
But after several turns it quits with "memory allocation" problems.
More suggestions?
In my game tonight, I razed an enemy city and immediately I had Kemetism spread to it. Didn't crash or anything, but something must be off if religion can spread to a city that doesn't exist anymore.

Do you have stack attack turned on? I have experienced great commanders not getting exp when stack attack was turned on. Turning it off fixed the problem.
