Caveman 2 Cosmos

In SVN Ver 5170 is wheat and barley along with potatoes and others suppose to look like Pete Moss? Just thought Id mention. It seems to be happening on random generated maps. A couple of the earth maps I load in world builder are fine but the when I get a generated one or load some of my previous world builder saves I have this issue as of late.

I have no idea why they are looking that way. I think it may have something to do with the way we have multiple features per plot but can't see why it should since there are no features on those plots.

Hi! How are you doing? I have got a small question here - one friend of mine told he remembered enjoying the old 1999' Call To Power Civ because of tactical battles. I googled a bit and found that the only intent since then was to make this tactical battle mod:

The question is, as I consider Caveman 2 Cosmos a wonderful "all-in-one" mod, do you have plans to include or possibly write/rewrite some workaround to implement tactical battles in C2C? I understand that it means loads of work and a deep remake of game mechanics... But anyway... Do you consider the tactical battles possible for future versions of C2C? Thanks! ;)

iirc that is where viewports came from. I think we have gotten stuck as we were going to use it for multiple maps. I know my problem is that I do not comprehend what is missing that needs to be done.

Just found out about this modcomp which enables us to declare war to our own vassal
Is it possible to incorporate it to C2C as for myself this is one of very few puzzles left to be add to the mod's grandeur

I would like to ask if there any Climate/Weather Weapons on the later stage of the game? To be able to create storm/volcano/earthquake/climate change/food resource depletion/whatever in some region of the map with approximate but random position and some random drawbacks? Might be fun =)

Such weapons are planned. However the only stuff you can do now is terraform terrain.

I need help with something it´s annoying me. I´m playing a caveman 2 Cosmos v30 game and some of my coastal cities have trade blockaded but i do not see any enemy ship near. The situation remains the same for hundreds of years. I don´t know how to deal with this. Is this a bug?.

Possibly. If you post a save and instructions on where to look we may be able to diagnose it.

I've seen this bug before. It doesn't seem to actually be blockaded. So I believe its a failure of the map graphic to refresh after the blockade ends.

I have downloaded and extracted the mod (v31) into /beyondthesword/MODS, and when I lauch the game, I see Caveman2Cosmos in my Load Mods section, but when I do try to load it, it loads and is exactly like regular BTS but with Caveman2Cosmos in text in the top right of the main menu. What did I do wrong and/or how do I fix this?

Ok. Forget my last problem with blockaded cities i´m going to check out v31 to see if the problem is fixed. Many thanks for the replies. I´m impressed with this mod and it´s community support. Keep working that way, it will get you very very far.

Looking at the C2C SVN log SO's last addition was 5750. But even that is incomplete on detail.

Ok - When I attempt to extract the V31 Archive with WINRAR it informs me that the Units.FPK is corrupt(Israeli Archers is just one of the files it say is corrupted within) .

Is anyone else getting this ?

Your download, most likely got corrupted, you need to try again, sorry.
