Hello,
I just installed/unzipped it and it's in the BeyondSword/Mod file but yet when I go to play it in Upload Mod it doesn't follow through. It goes back to the regular Civ4 homescreen and I notice it says Caveman2Cosmos on the top right corner of the screen. I did the normal installing-a-mod method, but I must of missed something. Any help would be appreciated as I am VERY VERY excited to play this.

The last upload had a few problems a new one is due next weekend ie 3-4th of November. In the meantime since you have downloaded it check the following
1) did you also download the patch and apply that?
2) try renaming he mod folder from c2c to caveman2cosmos.

Yes I downloaded the patch and applied it to where it was said to. When I first downloaded the mod is was under the name C2C but renamed it Caveman2Cosmos because it wasn't working under C2C. I thought changing the name to Caveman2Cosmos would do the trick but it didn't.
The 3rd/4th of Nov...even though it'll torture me (Civ freak here) I know I can wait til then for the new upload.lol

You might want to look for more info in the base Caveman 2 Cosmos page on our forum but I think there's something about getting it from another site? ModDB? I don't take much part in the 'release version' publishing side of things.

Ditto I can't say it enough!! I joined Raptr game tracking application community! I had the #1 post covering Caveman 2 Cosmos for many weeks, seems a few players hadn't discovered this Mod yet. Shocked me but many more players now know about it since I have posted a ton of comments and posts about C2C and team.
If any of you have raptr please add me, for those who haven't tried it, you don't know what your missing, like Xfire but much better over 15 million subscribers!

The only issue I am having is the "increasing difficulty" option. You are suppose to mark that option with an 'X' if you want it turned on. For two games now the option had no X on it as I dont want that option turned on, and yet the difficulty continues being increased. Is this a known bug? Is there any way to turn this option off manually in the mod's folder?

In the BUG options (click on the bug icon in the top left corner), on the Caveman2Cosmos tab, you can specify how increasing difficulty works. You can set your current difficulty to what you want, then set that as the maximum difficulty as well, and this effectively turns off increasing difficulty. And you can do that for an existing game, not just when the game starts.
