CCTP Rebuild

I have a question about dll. Do both versions of CCTP have a modified .dll (one just requires a seperate download) or is the first version .dll free? I'm wondering if there is a way to use the City State Diplomacy Mod with CCTP.

Neither version has a modified dll. The difference is dll version has some changes to be compatible with Whowards dlls.
 
The same for me, I'll check some configs for that :)
Anyway, palace is now the biggest issue for me - it causes a modifier to appear in all cities '-50%', what is obviously not intended!:sad:

Ok, I updated to change the modifier to the Tree of Life instead of Palace.

Here are the quick fix files so you won't need to completely re-download.

Just extract into the cctp rebuild folder in your mod folder and replace.(or open zip and drag into folder)

So the crash they cause (I've tested them with only those 2 mods), could that be caused by adding new buildings/wonders? I'm not sure if CCTP removes any vanilla techs, but maybe adding buildings to non-existent techs could cause a crash. I got the crash 3 times in a row. I have turned off social policy changes from CSD, the only other change I can think of is if CCTP alters the world congress. This is a full list of the features in case you can pick out what might be the problem.


This mod includes 4 new diplomatic units, one new great person, one new specialist, one new improvement, two new diplomacy-centric buildings, six new national wonders, six world wonders (three used for WC projects), a modified Patronage tree, eight new world congress resolutions (and overhauls of all standard resolutions), nine new city-state quests and a modification of the AI's city-state diplomacy mechanic. There are also balance tweaks for religious beliefs, policies and civilization traits, as well as an intelligent system for AI gold purchasing of buildings and units.

CCTP deletes the Vanilla tech table and completely redoes it.

If you could enable logging, run the game and then post your database, stopwatch, and lua logs we might be able to find the conflict. If I have time later, I'll try to load up that mod and look for myself.

open the City-State Diplomacy Mod(CSD) for Brave New World(v23).modinfo file with text editor or modbuddy.

Where it has </Dependencies> highlight it and copy this there:

this will force it to load after cctp and the game will start w/o crash. I only tested that far so I'm not sure if there will be any other issues later on, but this will let you play and see.

I do not seem to get it working though...
would there be a guide of how to install the most current version...
the rebuild and all the hotfixes seems to have me confused.

actually, I get 2 missing textures during starting of a new game, and then before I can start the first turn, the lost game screen :confused:

You shouldn't need the fixes if you just downloaded, those are for old downloads.
Just place the civ5mod file for the rebuild in your mod folder and civ will extract the mod.
C:\Users\Username\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\Mods

There are two rebuilds, on is regular mod, the other is for use with Whowards DLL mod. (only use one)

Make sure you clear your cache and moduserdata folder
C:\Users\Username\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\cache
C:\Users\Username\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\Moduserdata
 
I have problem with CCTP and Civ IV Diplomatic Features. When I have these two modifications together running, I can not find the research. They are not visible.

I just ran the two mods, and once I build first city, both tech pop up and tech tree are there, if that's what you're referring to. If not I'm not sure what research you can't find.

If you continue to have this problem, could you enable logging and send your database and lua logs and will try to track down your problem.
 
There is something else. In addition, I use Mod Various Components - 34 CIVS. The combination of CCTP, Various Mod Components - 34 CIVS, Civ IV Diplomatic Features and http://www.picknmixmods.com/mods/e293a791-74a1-45f5-beda-7921692ecbfe/mod.html (without this mod is not working as it should) causes crash after the meeting other civilization.

Iam not sure, but in the past Civ IV Diplomatic Features used also a dll mod.
So while you only can use one dll mod at the same time, i would bet this is the problem.
 
So there is no way to run Civ IV Diplomatic Features, together with Various Mod Components - 34 CIVS ?
