CFC last.fm group created!

It's a good thing I don't plug this in anymore, because you guys would be subjected to my gangster rap.

So when does the site update what we're listening to?

Though according to 'charts', Queen are in the lead :goodjob:
closely followed by Rammstein

does anybody know what exactly the number behind the artist/track means? It can't be number of songs played really, since I alone have certainly listened to more than 5 rammstein songs last week, and there are several songs not on the list that I listened at least 5 times as well ...

edit: yep, just checked, accordign to last.fm I alone listened to "Morgenstern" 6 times last week, yet it doesn't show on the CFC page. maybe the number is: number of times listend / number of members?

I think it means how many people listened to it.
Seems reasonable. It's good though as people can't affect the charts by listening to the same song over and over.

I've been playing around with the chart builder but failed to generate a group chart to show in the OP. I suspect it's for subscribers only.:(

If we're talking about the regular counter, it counts how many tracks of an artist heard, how many times you've listened to a single track.

Be aware that the song will only be "recorded", if you play it to the end; no shifting songs before they end if you want them on the list.

If I remember rightly, it's as long as at least half the song was played?

Perhaps the mechanism's changed or my memory just plain sucks.

I'm sure that's correct for the indivudual stats, but it's probably the way Chukchi Husky said in the group. As I said, I listened to way more than 5 Rammstein tracks last week (and it shows on my individual page as well)

Bump for newbies.

I'd better not join. I'd mess up your charts...

Why, whats your taste?

Yeah, I see no Sublime or B.I.G. on there so I would totally jack up the charts.

I think an artist only enters the group charts, if more than one person listens to it. Otherwise the group chart would look a lot different...
